RPGM - Futa Quest [v2.15] [FutaBox]

The game, itself, is fine, the scenes, the story and all of that is above average. Why only three stars?

Well it could honestly be a Ren'py VN, which would cut the game's length to a manageable six hours instead of the dreadful fifteen and more . And not enough different routes with how many characters there are. It's a soft reccomend.

Oh, and I am going to say it. Fuck Roxy(The MC). One of the worst characters I had the displeasure to read and interact with. Hope she burns in fictional character hell for all of eternity. (This didn't contribute to the rating as if it did, it'd be a one star)

one of the best versions made and with the most hot content that I have seen, my congratulations to the creator and his people, this version has it all, there was not the same old stuff and there was already sex, blowjobs, all of this is a futabox, I liked all the versions but this one surpassed all of them

TL;DR Top-tier art, horrible grammar, grindy as fuck (even for me)

So to start, you play as a futa (wow! no way!!!), bobs, vagene, all that sweet stuff.
Your task is to impregnate 3 main girls to get lots, and lots of cash.


Let's start with the review.

MC – A funky, rather entertaining, short-tempered futa, who has a small identity crisis.
For the main cast, I loved them, however, Connie bored me slightly.
The story isn't anything overly rambunctious, but it does its part.
Now, for the main problem – this game is heavily text focused, yet the grammar in this game is simply atrocious. But since I also speak Russian, I immediately saw the issue; the developer translates the Russian script word for word, as if the english was russian. I also have a small suspicious of using google translate, for example, the dev decided to translate the word 'зал' - which is colloquial form of 'спортзал', however, this new word can both mean hall and gym, the dev translated it as hall...
Well, that's a nitpick, but it still annoyed me... (It does not get better).
It also contains unbelievable amount of typos – dropped letters, missing appostrophes, repeating letters (fufutanari, walkwalking) and other.

Secondly, as many people mentioned, GRIND.
I usually don't mind grind in the slightest, but this... I don't think I've ever played something, that extends playtime so forcefully...
The game does not even have a proper text-skip function so you can get through the repeat text quicker.

Every day is separated into 4 parts - morning, noon, evening and night.
You have to repeat an action 4 or more times to progress... so that means you have to walk (or from part 2, you can finally teleport to the location) to the destination and talk to the girl.
Rinse and repeat.

Honestly, were it not for this art quality, I don't think I would've given it 2 stars, art carried this game.

2/5 - impeccable art, shit everything else

I posted a review a long time ago and wanted to update it with a more positive review.

The art in this game is way better than it used to be. The character plotlines are all over the place and the gameplay carries it pretty well. Biggest issue is the grindy gameplacy, but thanks to save files being posted here. You can mainly skip that suffering.

While I played some of 1.85 to the end the game glitched and locked me out of half the content...but the game is good if you get save file and walk though the gallery.

Good points:
Art is flawless in my opinion with a lot of quality on the characters them selfs and in the coloring of things
Overall pace of the game and scenes, good scenes with nice H content.

Could be better:
Too many non sence audio during dialogues
Could have an proper animation for some sex scenes
Game is divided in 3 parts, having a gallery separated for each one, i dont know why the did that, why not stick with 1 full game?
Gallery not easy to acess depending on where the game is.

Overall its a nice game and the artwork for me is a 10/10, which to me is the major selling point of a porn/+18 game.

Ia perfect game, It just needs to fix the problem with the gallery that stopped working in recent updates, otherwise it's perfect, the characters added are captivating and the story is sensational! I look forward to more updates and new chapters of this story.

I wanted to like this. The writing is decent, the characters are very solid, the art style is right up my alley, and to some degree the pacing is a good tease. To a certain point.

Oh. My. GOD. This game is unbelievably slow. It's the slowest H-game I've ever played by like a factor of ten. It takes an incredible amount of time to just get a topless character. I wanted to make the teacher character subservient, so I stuck through too much of the gameplay, but I just can't do it anymore.

First of all thank you, for working and improving the game although as i've been seeing so many salty reviews probably a newer fans coming but i still remember that both of you started in being a beginner in police academy to being the wonderful portrayal of the game. This is a game that could be good but suffers a lot from how it plays out. For now the game is split into 3 parts v1.95, the first part especially which is the gate into the game is especially a chore to play through.

Basically the game works a bit like an open world where you go through morning - day - evening - night and during those times you have to interact with specific characters and sometimes in a specific order. Your also only able to fast forward time at specific spots and you have to sleep at home each night to progress the day so there is a lot of running back and forth because of this.

It becomes especially apperent when most characters can only be interacted with in the morning or needs a morning interaction. Each scene is also often split up into 3 parts where you need to repeat the same scene 3 times where everything is the same or at least parts are repeated from start until you can see the full scene. In short this basically means a 1-2 hours game is stretched out to about 5 hours simply because you have to watch the same content multiple times and your forced to run back and forth.

This is improved quite a bit in part 2 and 3 where a lot of fast travel points and time advancement spots are added coupled with less repetition in the scenes and while there is a walkthrough for all 3 parts there is no mention of it in game and with no way to track things if you don't play the game in one go you might have a lot of running around to do if you forget stuff.

Also for such a text heavy game there is a lot of spelling errors or choppy english, again especially in part 1, the scenes are also not very "sex" focused and instead for like 80% are bla bla bla and then about 20% is actual sex.

The world setting is a bit weird in that for instance the futa MC is giving some super drug that makes her a super futa or something, much bigger D, bigger balls, more sperm, fertility and what not. The dev also makes a point to always point out that MC can make anyone see cums in pregnant 125%. But then there are other points where a futa cums in the MC she can't get pregnant cause the futa isn't mature yet so her sperm is sterile but then MC cums in said futa in multiple scenes but can't get her pregnant because you have to cum in a futa multiple times to get one pregnant and then nothing is mentioned at all when MC cums in a normal woman, most likely cause she's a side character. Which makes the scene a bit weird since the dev has put so much emphasis on this during all other sex scenes. This is a minor thing but I always dislike when devs/authors say's something is purple, then it's white, then black, then multicolored and then orange.

Still this is a game with potential that suffers from it's gameplay design and that "info dumps" aren't seperated from most sex scenes some of it can be mitigated by simply watching the scenes from the gallery instead.

What does set the game apart is that the futa MC is more of a "normal" person, as normal as anyone can be in a porn game, also the fact that the game isn't NTR focused and that there is a lot of femdom and bondage stuff done towards both the futa MC and other characters. The art is also great and the story is kinda whacky though a bit too serious most of the time but strangely likeable.

I'd give this a rating of 3.5 but since I can't I'll give this a 3 because part 1 just really annoyed me compared to part 2 + 3.

Frustration

Here is how i would describe this game: Imagine you wanted to get off and the only aid you had was the game of thrones books, like the whole series. Do they have 18+ content in them? Yes, but in order to get there you have to read read read and read...

After a while you say fuck it and look up which pages have the sexy parts, imagine these as the save files for the game. So you find the page numbers and go there, but you see that these scenes go for couple of pages and they are so slow that you cant even cum, like literally you just get out of the mood trying to get to the next action in the same scene. This games scenes are like Dragon Ball battles in the sense that yes there is a battle but it spans several episodes.

Even having the saves werent enough for me with this game. Going through the scenes in the gallery and trying to find a scene there with actual amount of content to finally cum is REALLY hard. Like at one point i was closing the game if the scene didnt seem interesting because this way is faster than trying to skip all the text in the scene so you can select another one. So you just click on "show the memory" and then exit the game and try again until you find something "enough". This feels like a erotica written by a person that wanted to write a novel but couldnt so they find a middle ground and write a book where there is erotic parts but they are far between and even if they happen the first 10 pages are foreplay, after that in the middle of the scene other character says "you did great today come back tommorrow so we can continue". I played more than 2 hours of the chapter 1 while skipping most of the text and the BIGGEST thing i saw was mc poking boobs.

The reason im giving this game 2 stars is my heart wouldnt let me give this talented artist 1 star rating, kudos to them. But if you as a player actually want to get off in a reasonable time, go somewhere else. After 2+ hours i started using saves to finish. In the end i had 4+ hours in the game (search " sunk cost fallacy "). My left hand sore because of trying to get off and my right hand sore for holding down the left mouse button for hours in order to skip the text.

You think this review is long? Multiply the feeling by 3 and imagine only seeing a scene where a character shows their bra to the mc. My god

genuinely don't know why this game is so poorly reviewed. I've followed it since it's early beta versions, and you won't find a more complete futa game experience on this site. A casual playthrough of all 3 parts easily passes 30 hours at this point, and the characters are well written, engaging, and most importantly: sexy. 10/10 game.

ps: english isn't the best out the gate, but the author greatly improves as the game goes on.

This is a perfect example of a good artist making a bad porn game. I wish they went with Ren'py or something similar, because all the RPGMaker engine exists for in this game is to make you waste as much time as humanly possible. You're better off just finding a save and exploring the gallery in this one.

Gameplay is fairly tedious. You do a lot of the same tasks which largely boil down to talking to the same girl a dozen times for one scene. Often, that scene is the scene you just saw, but with slightly different dialogue, or the mc gets her dick out, but doesn't use it outside of cumming in the air. Its the main reason this is a 2. I think its just too tedious to really want to play. But you also need context from playing it to understand the girls fully.

Scenes are iffy. They tend to play out differently for each girl so they're a step up from a lot of other games where sex is just an identical menu or every girl has the same kinks and personality, but it just takes too long to see any real progress with any of them.
You would think the scenes would get hotter later, but I found the game to be getting worse over time, thanks to the devs obsession with involving other futa.
The main appeal is to play this big dick manipulative futa and 5 mins in she loses most of her futa mojo, then it turns out the Harley Quinn is a futa, then later on the Velma stand-in, then recently a random horse chick grows a dick bigger than yours for no apparent reason.
The Harley Quinn and Velma stand in both get shilled a lot by the dev. There's a Raven character, but she revolves around the HQ one, so you don't get to enjoy her much without this second dick in the way.
Velma just shows up all the time. She gets content every other update (and when she does it tends to be an excessively large number of scenes compared to the norm), shows up in other peoples scenes fairly often and I just don't get why.
She wasn't a futa to begin with. She wasn't in other people scenes to begin with. Now she is. All the time. And I'm not really into that. I'm into futa on female, which she no longer is.
As is I really only follow this for the Princess X Maid content, who are both (so far) still girls, have interesting personalities and backstories and fairly decent scenes while generally avoiding other girls so Velma won't show up out of nowhere and derail the scene with her boner yet again.

The gallery also got worse over time. Early on it says stuff like "romance 2 (titfuck and choice)", "erotic dream (masturbation)", etc. You know what sex act you're going to see. Since this has no option to just see the CG and no instant text option, this is pretty handy. Almost immediately after it will just say "Connie in toiler cubicle x" or "getting to know the new futa".
Often not numbered with no info on what the scene involved. Want to find specifically the scene where Connie (Velma) actually sucks your cock? Well that's one of them. If you've played the game properly, you know its the last. If you haven;t or its been awhile, you just sort of have to guess. Its not a very good system.

After the first game, the feeling of total fucking, instead of the corruption indicated in the plot itself, everything boils down almost to an unrecognized DMD and the resulting masturbation with an admixture of BDSM in the position of a sub, and the second chapter welcomes with a synopsis : peace, friendship, chewing gum, no "cruelty"

Love it, too much grinding but it's well compensed by having lots of scenes in between. The MC is a big manipulator and that makes this game way better.
The writting and history are really well made and i hope it continues like this until finished.

One of a kind game! First of all its a game, not a "press skip to see lewd stuff" like 90% of games on the site... Story is fine, I say this because usually I don't know the story since they require me to read a goddamn book but this one got just the right amount and its also funny at times. Art is also good, it went through a lot of changes but I would say it got better and better each times.
I have no idea why this game is not above 4 stars since its one of the best games available here.

If you skim any of the reviews of this game, you'll see everyone complaining about the gameplay and how 'grindy' the game is. Just to make things more clear, here's why:

The game unnecessarily breaks every scene into a ton of miniscule parts, and between each part you have to run around the map and come back at the same time on the following day. This gameplay design is implemented to an absurdly asinine degree.

For example, there's a part where you need to get some information from a character. In any other game, you'd get the information and then you could move on. But in this game, you have to sit through three separate scenes of talking to the character - in the first scene you try to get the information and fail - in the second scene you fail again but have an idea about how to get it next time - in the third scene you implement the idea and finally get the information. A simple scene is broken into three pieces for no reason. And remember, between each part you have to leave, sleep, then come all the way back on the following day at the same time to continue. Wtf is the point of this? Literally EVERY scene in the game is handled in this way.

The most absurd example is Velma's scene, where she hypnotizes herself so you can do science on her (or something like that. Idk, the writing is stupid). You take advantage of this and do lewd things to her instead. Sounds simple, right? Well this scene is broken up into almost TWENTY parts. I understand this is corruption game and things are meant to happen over a longer period of time, but good god. It takes a LONG time to get through these scenes, and if you don't like the scene, you're out of luck.

TLDR: Even if you love the art, the kinks, and every other thing about the game, it still isn't worth playing unless you seriously undervalue your own time.

The art in the game is very good in truth. It's easily the best aspect of the game.

The premise is decent enough too.

The issue in my opinion is the gameplay. It's the main thing seriously dragging the game down.

It's takes extreme amounts grind to get from one scene to another. So much so that I'm not really sure if it's really worth it to go through the game. Being heavily padded out with copious amounts of artificial length is this games second name basically.

If you can put up with the unbearable amount of the grind baked into the game to progress through some of it's offerings it might be worth it to check it out for a bit.

There's an actual good game hiding deep beneath if the dev could heavily streamline alot of the game from top to bottom and it's progression system. But I'm not counting on it.

Pros

The visuals of the game is single hand carrying this game, they are really good, like, really sexy characters, positions, scenes and stuff, but that is it.

Cons

Map navigation is really bad, and actually took a really long time for them to add fast travel and fast walk, at least they did but still really time consuming to see scenes at all.

Mentioned above, but the time you need to actually get any scenes is just terrible, you go back and forth talking to NPC, going the other side of the map, looping days to be able to talk to the NPC again, and after a long time you are able to actually unlock something relevant.

Writing is really bad, I actually read until the first releases and after that I just skipped through the game to be able to see the scenes.


My overall conclusion is that this dev should make stand alone animations/R34picutres and forget about the game, because the drawings and animations are actually pretty solid.
If you are able to get only the images to see and function properly, do it.
