Hey Nethuum nice looking game.

Question: Why did you call it "futariuum"?

Futari = two people
Futanari = has two (implied: types of genitals ) grown

Is it some sort of Steam restriction on the game name?

I love this game! While I am usually a sub and like getting abused, being a hung futa is really hot and the art makes me come back time and time again to see what is going to happen next. The game has a lot of "under construction" and "cumming soon" but I like that the dev has an idea of where this is going. I will TOTALLY keep this on my watch list!:p

Really dislike Samantha, the cop character. She magically abducts you in the middle of a cop office, how does no one notice? And why does Maya not give a shit that she was treated like that? She's definitely sensitive to other things in the story.

Yep that was odd. The game is soft fantasy but that was still out of place.
I do like her character though. Hot futa, fights my enemy - which is just about the only certainty my character has when thrown into all this supernatural business. I wish we could team up instantly instead of the 2 annoying brats.
___

A bit of a dilemma because I like choices in theory but I like linear content for practical reasons (game lenght and see everything on single playthrough). But starting with the officer would have been nice as an option. Or at least making the 2 kids dialogue short (partially opt-out).

I like the game (love the art), but I think the protag being so peculiar with their feelings makes it harder to identify with and is a little weakness in the writing.
It would be generally better to write the content with little choices similar to how the dungeon healing has a short version, but for character routes. That way I can decide how my character feels about a situation or person, even if this doesnt lead to a significantly altered story, just a bit of skipped content the game would warn us of. Best example is being attracted to the androgynous character.

In fact the protag acts downright pathetic with those 2 childish and almost-cool characters being forced on us. Opening up to them fully, asking if they are ok with seeing dick (they were when they spied on me having sex), affirming the trans-thing when its uncalled for (though potentially its just to convey social anxiety). I wish suddenly becoming extremely powerful would give our protag a bit of a power-trip and confidence boost.

Approaching the mental health topic in a politically contentious way risks the game being off putting, but luckily its minimal and the more light hearted and sexual tone carries.
e.g. first session with the psychologist. Objectification can merit sympathy as an insecurity - feeling ojbectified as a personal problem, but not as a guiding principle for how not to relate to others. Instead, a positive character would encourage us to accept our hyper-sexuality, perhaps explaining that not having a regular partner but living with a woman may excacerbate it.
Since the encounter can end in sex (we even have choice this time), this topic doesnt really matter and ends up being a parody of itself anyway. Just for the record, there is something very narcissistic and vain about expecting others to not relate according to their sexual drive ("objectify") but be busy figuring out our internal psyhological state regardless of context (their own interest or lack thereof). Both happens naturally, as the game even acknowledges by separating the "2 Lauras" sharply in the protag's head. Classic example of a non-issue being psychologized into existence and making our own insecurities everyone elses responsibility.
Slightly related note: clothing is self expression as well as culturally coded - a cop is allowed to like or dislike it on me. The protag got offended, I wouldnt be, this ties back to the relatability issue. What we dress for should inform others on how to treat us within the sensible limits. This is innate just like "objectification" and it makes no sense to problemitize it. Game treats it sufficiently lightly but reminds us of real life politics unfortunately.
I shouldnt focus on it too much, in my defense the game brings up these topics and does them dirty. Maybe out of some sense of soc-jus mission or maybe the writer just grew up in an environment where thats the default.

Just my own taste but its very fun imagining that gorgeous therapist putting us in teasing hell for 5 sessions without relief. Encouraging us to "accept our feelings" without even explicitly pointing out we have an erection, and training us in self control by teasing.

I'd still give the writing 4/5 because it has solid grammar and pacing and the premise is creative. The game is otherwise 5/5.

I remember liking the creators art and tried this game out, but if I recall correctly there were only a few futa x futa scenes, do they have any plans to add more? Or is the games development cycle finished?

The game is still fairly early in development, so there are plenty of new scenes on the horizon. Depending on the build you played, it might even have a completely different combat system now. Most of the human NPCs are still female, but we do have one futa and one femboy that don’t have H-scenes yet. Most updates add a demon enemy, and those are almost all futa and get one or two victory H-scenes; off the top of my head I think there are six or seven enemy/miniboss types right now, with more on the way.

I feel like too much text was written. Author should understand VN is not a novel. The biggest pro of the VN is that both the author and the reader do not need to DESCRIBE EVERY FREAKING THING - V stands for Visual.
For example you show a nice looking character in VN's for the most part i don't need to see 100 word description of how awesome/sexy this character is because i the reader have my own eyes and can make my own description with just right amount of words.

I will not bash on the lack of art (like some reviewers did) it is up to the author. But the amount of wording is insane. I do like reading books/novels/comics/mangas but when i start reading them i have an expectation. Not to mention the inner monologue is awkward because it keeps repeating and is actually MASSIVE. If i were to have so much inner monologue with people WHILE talking with them i think they would think I am mentally retarded.

Lastly whilst the TEXT is massive it doesn't establish world building and history much if at all. Mostly text is about balaclava baking and etc. Feels like speaking to my grandparents who describe very mundane things in detail.(The other part is over description of the sexual parts but i understand that was made due to lack of Visual elements)

When i tried making a novel i did the same thing, HEAVILY over described everything. After re-reading i understood that my detective character either had super speedy thoughts OR a dude that stands in a lobby gazing at it and monologuing how the lobby looks, smells and feels (roughly 1/4 of word in 12p of description).

...And the N stands for NOVEL. So I honestly cannot fathom what has ever given you the idea that visual novels are somehow "not novels..."

Sure, there is such a thing as "writing in moderation" but the few times I have given this one a look-see, I did not feel it was the least bit "over-written."

Visual novel helps with reducing word count and amount by giving readers the visuals i.e. you don't need to go into detail to describe everything.
Look at the reviews, i'm not the only one noticing the pattern.

Honest critique here. Too much text in VN (especially irrelevant text) can and likely will alienate quite a lot of people.
If you want you can create a side projects and create a ero novel and publish it via patreon exclusive or simply outright sell it for a few $. Text amount is good for ordinary novel.

As for your remark about Visual Novel being a novel, you have to understand that VN and novel are 2 different kinds of media. What works for books doesn't always work for movies and they need to edit it in order to make it readable or watchable.

Last but not least. I might be mistaken but vast majority of porn consumers and VN porn are men. Women on the other hand prefer ero novels/books. Logic is that males are more visual creatures. A lot of text actually felt like ero novel for female demographics.

My critique is just that my critique it shares opinions with some reviewers. I did not review (rate it) because it's unfinished so the only thing i can do is to write my opinion to give opinions and maybe give insight for the author. I played quite a few VN games but this one somehow just irked and forced me to stop playing it. I decided to understand why, and the why is written above.
