Find the HTML file (usually in the first folder along with an image folder) and open that in your browser - double click, right click and run in browser, or drag the file into the tab bar of your browser.
As for using save files, you'll have to save them onto your PC if you want to continue after closing it. Most look like the image below:

"In Browser" saves will disappear after you close the window, the "On Disk" buttons let you save to and load from your PC's drives.I just saved to a slot and then closed the game, came back to the same file, but no save.
