Some years ago I played a game to which my memory sometimes returns.
I remember it being quit an early stage 2D game (renpy maybe).
Storywise, the MC and his family lost their home and went homeless. It was the MC's duty to find a job and earn money.
I do not remember a father/fate of father. At least one sister and the mother were involved.
Although similar it is not StraitenedTimes (where the family lives in a motel).
Would be great if it rings a bell and one of you could point me towards it
