Yes they can, and with EA regardless of whether they can win the case most likely will. A youtuber a while back was online reviewing a game from another company but an EA ad came on that you could just barely hear, later you find out that it was his little brother watching tv in another room. EA hit him with a copyright strike just from BARELY hearing the audio of the ad.
There are a few companies you just don't fuck with, EA, Disney and Games Workshop. They hate their customers, and for some reason people just can't stop throwing money at them.
