Project:

The premise of the game is a fantasy RPG where the protagonist (male or female) is the last remaining soldier of a scouting group who was ambushed by an invading army. They must rally various factions near the border to defend an old keep there where the invaders will be making their assault. Also, you know, lots of sexy sex.

This is a project that I've had in my head for about a decade. I tried before in 2013 to get it off the ground as a text adventure and it got so far before the team fell apart.

Developer:

This is my first serious project, but what I am bringing to the table is a portfolio of 30+ pages of design documents, maps, and already developed and refined game systems that I need talented individuals to make into a playable game.

Looking for:

I am looking for a talented group of individuals who will work with me (and each other) to develop this game.

I need someone who can code to make the game playable. I don't have a good concepts of the strengths and weaknesses of different engines, but do NOT want to use RPG maker.

I need an artist to contribute art. I listed 2D up top since I think that is the most realistic get that will work with this game. I am not partial to 2D or 3D art, it just needs to be good. I always prefer real porn, but I don't see that as a real option when goblins, orcs, and trolls are involved, but f you think that's a thing you can make happen, let me know that too. A lot of time 3D are looks really freaky/uncanny valley, so if we do 3D art, it needs to be really good.

I would like a writer on this project. I've done a lot of writing on this project, but I am much more comfortable writing a scene description and having someone better at writing make the scene come alive. I would rather be able to work on the nuts and bolts, do proofreading, editing, play testing, and things in that vein. Having a writer would allow me to do that.

Employment Type:

There is currently no money for this project. If we put out a playable demo or something and people show interest, then a Patreon may be something to explore and, at that point, I'd be happy to split that income with the team. Basically, if we can make money with the game, I'll share it gladly, but there are no guarantees.

Work commitment:

This is currently a one off project, but, if we work well together and the project is well received, there are certainly other game ideas I have that I'd like to make.
As this is not currently a paying gig, this would be part time, however I need people that are going to show up regularly and stick it out until the project is finished.

Preferred method of contact:

Please DM me here for now. Once we have a team, we will move to some other form of communication.

Job Description:

I am looking for a team to game this game happen and be as good as I know it can be.

Additional comments:

If you are interested, please DM me. I appreciate any interest, but please do not reach out if you know that you cannot follow the project through to the end.

I see a lot of "game designers". Can you provide some documentation which you have done?

Sure, what are you looking for? Combat mechanics? Item lists? some sample written encounters? Like I said, I have 30+ documents of various lengths in the project folder already.

Hello, here I am and I want to join you in this adventure.
What you can expect from me: Commitment to the project from start to finish, some experience writing short stories, ability to make believable characters. I can also render some scenes, but I prefer to write.

That would be great! Hopefully we can get a dedicated artist and your rendering skills won't be required. DM me and I'll let you know what I'm thinking for direction of the project.

So, at this point, we have a writer and a programmer who have expressed interest. Any artist interest would be much appreciated.
