When searching for the "best" new games, I'm aware of sorting by first message=descending in the games forum section (I don't think this is possible in latest updates?)
I just go page by page looking at the votes which isn't really great because you go over many with low ratings or none at all this way. Is there any way to filter the number of rating votes/stars on top of this first message filter?

Afaik, not really, i pay attention to most newly released games every day just by looking at the recent threads, or this feature on the front page

You could also screw around with the advanceed search mechanic and figure out what works, but honestly not alot of good new gamess are released that often anyways, you'll know when they do
