Anyone who has seen the movie "Back To The Future" probably can guess what my dirty mind is thinking of.

Idea:
Title -
"Back In Time" [to avoid obvious copyright infringement]

Synopsis -
A 21 year old man with a miserable overweight mother stumbles upon a top-secret device in the laboratory of his university where he studies for a Master's in Physics. The device has the ability to transport the user back in time. Foolishly trying to play with the device, not knowing how to operate it properly, the protagonist ends up going back 30 years in time to the past. There, he inadvetertently stumbles upon a girl whom he realises is his mother - but in this time, she is really slim and very pretty. The girl becomes attracted to him and begins flirting with him. The guy is hesitant at first, but eventually gives in to his dirty carnal desires.

Looks like almost trash bingo. Can`t say original story was too good, but why follow wrong steps?

If time travel was a thing and we are talking about fixed timelines...

It's genetically not possible to be your own father. Your DNA will be mixed with your mother, meaning the offspring of you and your mother cannot have identical DNA to your own.

Although unlikely, it is technically possible to be your own grandfather though. You bang your grandmother, and your offspring is your father. And when your father bangs your mother, the mix of those DNA can produce your exact DNA, however unlikely that is.

But in a dynamic timeline or multiverse setting, pretty much anything is possible because time isn't an immutable thing. It will just change according to whatever shenanigans you pull with time travel.

Edit:
Just another fun fact.
If you are a time travel junkie, you have probably watched Predestination (2014). It's among my favorites, but the genetics of such a concept is quite interesting.
