Hey guys, so i was just thinking of a VN idea i think hasn't been explored (much), the premise is that the Main Character was just recently elected to lead the nation. Every decision matters, it can either be good or really bad as this is national level decision.
It'll feature interactions with other leaders and such. You will start out as a okayish nation, the goal is to raise it to become a global superpower. And the mechanics? I was thinking of a panel that had all information, both on the world's and characters.
Here's a base i came up with to give an idea how it'll look.
So the country info panel will look like this.

Obviously more characters will be introduced so the general panel where you can now choose which you want to view will be like this.

Characters info panel (under which you can view each characters profile that is available)
I already have a story direction but dialogs and conversation will be the issue.
Challenges: as you're relatively young and your nation will start out relatively 3rd world or should I say developing, you will be looked down by foreign dignitaries and such(obviously they won't openly show it, it'll be subtle by their actions and comments, you have to catch it) but you have the options to assert yourself. There's also conflicts between nations, trades and such.
There will be harem too as it's literally almost impossible for there not to be considering the characters position. Even though not harem there's a lot of pussy just waiting, some more difficult than the other.
I'm not a fan of netorare, sharing or whatever so that will not be present as i also feel like it won't make sense giving the characters position
Also it won't be sandbox, point and click might be present? But it won't be bound by time mechanic or requirement just strictly for explorations.
For the endings.
If you did a good enough job (hidden stats), they can freeze the 2 term law indefinitely so that you can remain in office beyond term limit.
If you did a bad job, you will only serve 2 term and fuck off.
If you did a very bad job, you can be impeached.
Anyway this is just an idea. I'm not skilled enough or knowledgeable enough in all the skills to make this game a reality yet, it might never even happen. But if someone comes across this and wants to use the idea, you're free to..
