Seeking Game like AI Shoujo

Hello everyone.

I've tryed many games already here but i found myself very charmed by "Ai Shoujo" from Illusion. There are any other games made in the same way (not specifically from Illusion ofc)?

I am also waiting for someone else to do a similar game. Not for the gameplay of the single player. I just love the character customization and studio mode to create my own scenes and stories with my characters. What I mind on AI Shoujo is that it's still very "anime" feeling, which isn't generally a problem, but I would like something that you can also create european faces better with no hint of overly-long/wide hips, and anime-esque voices and facial features and outfits. It's not TOO anime for me to not enjoy (not a big fan) but it contains enough traces of it for me to mind.

You take the character creation from APB Reloaded, slap it onto AI Shoujo's Studio mode and card sharing and make it a bit easier to animate stuff, and blam! Thats a source of unlimited content. Then later you can sell DLC with stories to play in. You could make easy free roam games as well as VN's over such a game, that can be then sold as DLCs/Extensions in their own right

I agree with both of you guys. Wish there was at least an "western" voicepack to HS2. Now that would make things way better for me lmao. Don't get me wrong. Games very good but I rather hear American/European/Latin voices. Cheers

Kinda want to bump this long ago dead topic since it's still... a damn good question.

First of all, you totally should have checked for any other Illusion games. Maybe I could recommend Artificial Girl 3, but not sure. It's very old but could be somewhat close by concept. Honey Select (any ver.) is cool, but lifeless. Interaction only through sex... or, to fix myself, through the combination of picked poses by the end. Still a good porn. I just wish it had be more dialogues, for example, as in Custom Order Maid. This game made by KISS, worth checking it out.

In the end, there's no such games as AI Shoujo. But I wish there would be in future, at least, similar to some degree. It is a large project.

Now I will go down the path of my personal opinion and share a list of things why I liked AI Shoujo and why I wish to see more similar games, though nobody asked:
(I must mention that I've played it with mods only - Modders, my beloved. You truly are saviours of any game. Thank you so much - so this is not a "review"... but an overall glance)

• Characters, character editor. Yep, I'm perfectly fine with them being anime-ish. Still not completely anime like Koikatu or something. Just right in the middle, balanced zone. Though almost any graphics will be okay in the boundaries of a certain concept (I like Koikatu too), but I'll probably cringe at more realistic attempts in 3D. The problem might be that there's a relatively low variety of personalities to choose, character editor simply is a very powerful re-skinning utility, but it's ok.
• Quality of H-Scenes. Even if ain't much of a choice, and surely they could be more interactive, they still are interactive, so that's respectable, also the opportunity to move camera, positions, change settings like eye contact and other stuff, etc. Combined with character graphics, sounds, H-Scenes are 10/10 (like in any decent Illusion game, yeah). But I wish I would see a distinct dependence on a mood or personality and positions combination though.
• Sandbox-like character development, development towards the player (and the fact that it's reversible). Actions may have consequences, though they aren't much. NPC are doing stuff on they own, they could bring you something or make a demand, there could be different types of relationships... well, not really, but at least sort of... Girls have moods and needs, but also traits they could get (or you could "put") and stats (heavy dependent on your interaction (or lack of it) with them). They will talk to you based on their "phase", mood and personality, which is cool, because you can interact with them at any time. Not a deep system, though pretty good and I wish to see more complex one in the future as well.
• Overall sandbox elements. Scavenging for resources, building the base, the "eco" (food to eat or to sell). There's no certain goal, you just getting yourself (ok, the girls) more comfortable, maybe digging for more... "traits" as I called them, I don't exactly remember what they are. Also it's cool to build something to get some special H-Scenes.
• Freedom, to some degree a freedom of interaction. Do what you want or don't do anything. Be good and helpful or bad and demanding. Live in a luxury place built by you or stay in ruins... even with the harem. Because maybe you just don't care about the mood. It's an open world!...... even if a very limited one. Finally, meet the girls, walk together, eat together... sleep together. I mean, sleep for real. Maybe go for fishing. Sometimes discuss something. Feels good, until you learn about every personality.

And now why AI Shoujo is... not that good:

• It requires NASA PC. Like spikes are so bad and sometimes it's impossible to understand what causing them. A small island and a starting beach are the most laggy areas, and they are the starting and the ending points of the game... Latest BetterRepack releases are impossible to play for some reason, starting from one of the versions it's just two frames per one second with the minimal settings, won't tell from which it is.
• I actually mentioned some of the flaws in the section above, there's a room for improvements. But there's already that much to not have anything similar to it. Just wow.
• I'd love if this game would have a story, there's a possibility of a good mystery plot (there is that atmosphere already, some "ruins" could get more functions); maybe an opportunity for AI girls to become something more, because in the end, even at phase 4, they still are dolls, like in Koikatu (but here it's more fun to follow them and do something together), even with stats and stuff.
• I mentioned a freedom of interaction, but maybe I lied. Example, girls could get... bi-curious and they will go to some relatively hidden place to start their scene. And nope, you can't join it, you can't even see it as H-Scene, they will just play some animations in world to then leave. Meh. Also not a lot of stuff to do together or to chat about, even lack of any 'scripted dates'.

There are a lot of cool and unreleased concepts as if this game was heavily rushed in the end...

This is very helpful, I think at that point it's time to finally start the studio work!..

Bumping a dead thread, I have some questions about ai shoujo but I'm new here and don't have privilges to start a thread yet (How do I get privileges? ) Thats my first question

my next question is a bit longer and maybe I'll need to start my own thread but it would be awesome if someone saw this and could help out



I downloaded AI shoujo V1.0.7 with BR4 from SteamUnlocked.net. The webpage says "Additional Notes: The additional expansions (DLC) available in Japan are incompatible" I don't know what that mean
but I would like to update beyond V1.0.7.


If I can should I and do I need to in order to update to BR15?


I found a download page for the BetterRepack and there's the option to downlaod the full pack of BR15 or options to update the packs.


If I downlaod the full pack for BR15 it's 50gb
To update it would be a lot less GB but I'm not sure weather to
update each consequtive pack until I reach BR15 or can I go straight from BR4 to 15?

Go ahead and download the latest FULL Better Repack and install it. If you fall behind more than a few updates it best to just reinstall.
