Just finished all of the available content for The Fiery Scion and I really enjoyed it.

Something I was taught in literature classes is that the the protagonist has to go through struggle in the story to make it good interesting. Honestly after going through this game, I'm starting to wonder how true that statement actually is.

It was really fun just walking around and basically winning all the time. Your MC just keeps getting richer and more powerful, he uses his wealth and power to help those around him and his harem is constantly growing. There are rarely issues with the harem itself and when they appear the MC corrects whoever needs to be corrected and things get resolved (at least for his personal relationships) quickly.

I also really enjoyed how the MC is a doting, loving, and protective parent. A lot of those scenes were really heartwarming, not something you'd expect in this type of game.

It's not like there aren't any external threats to the MCs awesome life, but while playing this game I never have to worry about if something ACTUALLY bad is going to happen to him, and as silly as it sounds, that's refreshing.

In essence I enjoyed how the game made me feel while playing it. There's enough uncertainty and stress in real life. I'd like to find more games/VNs where the MC is a good awesome dude and life just works out for him.

Edit : A quick note as well about the engine. Preferably they'd use the same animation/character model engine as TFS/Eternum, etc (I think it's Honey Select 2, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to say that for sure). Some of those other engines out there have some serious uncanny valley issues and the models just freak me out lol

I played Companion of Darkness and inanna revenge, very good suggestions.

I tried Stray Incubus for a few hours but the author seems to really like to stick you in "spooky" scenarios that make no sense and that's not really my vibe. If you say it's a slow start I might go back to it and power through a bit more, but I was honestly disappointed with the first few hours.

I'll definitely check out the others you listed, thanks so much!
