VN Game lunch introduction animation

Hello everyone,

I recently changed the splash screen that appears when launching my game so that it looks more appealing when chapter 3 comes out.

However, I really have a hard time deciding between the two animations I created because both represent the universe of Apocalypse Lovers very well.

If I could get some opinions that would be great!

Note : I advise to watch them full screen with sound

Purple and green is the color of talking dinosaurs, anime mechs, and energy drinks. I can't take it seriously.

Both animations are identical, only over different backgrounds. The animation itself is inappropriate, and doesn't look or feel 'dystopian' or 'apocalyptic' by any means. Indeed are the needless sparkling particles make it feel more at home in a high fantasy setting with magic and fairies. It is too flashy and clean.

The only thing that gets the mood right is the wind blowing SFX. That's it. The font, colors, border lines, and animation all feel off and out of place.

You'd be better of using either background (without the bordering green lines top and bottom), with the wind blowing SFX. Have the title text fade in, but have a more appropriate font and colors. Something that perhaps looks worn and derelict, rather than some sort of goofy Comic Sans adjacent one in Barney colors. Then just have it all fade to black. Short, simple, and gets the point across without being distracting.
