VN - Ren'Py - Game of Inches [vC1.E3P2.001] [Remveer]

Really enjoyed this. The writing is great, the characters are all interesting and the game looks really good.

So overall there is nothing negative to say about whats there. The only problem I see is that whats there is extremely little for well over a year of development. If the pace stays like this I doubt this game will see the finish line in this decade. Which isnt a great sign, since 95% of the games with this slow of a development cycle end up getting abandoned.

But heres to hoping that either it will speed up or this is just my pessimism showing.

I'm on the line on this one, but it probably deserves more stars. The reason for this is that, from a more objective point of view, it really does little wrong. Solid characters, a believable story, decently well written, a usual point system to make choices matter... But it didn't work for me. First off, not interested in sports and specially not american football. But mostly it ends up for me being too much of a slice of life, with some interesting moments but also a lot of important but tedious ones thrown into the mix.

Render quality is pretty high, character models are nice and animations are brief but pretty decent. I turned off the music and sound doesn't play a large role but it's there. And I found no bugs in my playthrough which is nice.

So, all in all, if you are into a more realistic and down-to-earth game with a focus on american football, it will probably be for you. As for me, I'll probably play a few more updates and see down the line.

I have been waiting to review this one for a few updates but I kept thinking it was too short but we are already at episode 3 part 2. Due to my saves not working for this update I had to start again, so I though it was time. Unfortunately as of the end of episode 3, it doesn't take long to run through. Maybe I'm a quick reader but for a download of 1.4gb it doesn't feel that there's much story wise happening so far. It reads more like a slice of life rather than a dramatic story. You can see where it has the potential to go but there's not much yet. It feels more like we are at the end of episode 1.

The LI's are good rather than great, with none of them being wow but a number of them are good enough to choose to be with them. I like that so far it seems you don't have to go down the family route and you will have the option say no. I also am really pleased that the dev chose who he did for the mom and sister characters, so that you don't feel like your missing two great looking LI's. I was never a fan of Jill in a well known VN and I'm so glad I don't have to choose her in this either. It can be really annoying when a dev chooses a beautiful LI for the family path, when you don't want to go down that route and you feel your missing out. But here you don't with the sister and the mom.

You can clearly see the influences of a famous 3 letter basketball harem VN but it feels like we still haven't got out of town yet, to go to college for the real story to begin. I'm still not sure what the hook will be to drive the story and for us to invest in the MC's story. So far at the end of three episodes we only know he wants a harem and that the goal is the state championships and to get into college. I'm hoping the real story hasn't started yet, as it will just be an adult Disney sports film, if that all there is to the plot. Disney sports films are predictable and okay which maybe what the dev is aiming for but hopefully the dev will give us the real story in the next episode and will really pick up the pace. I think there's potential here and I'm happy to review it again later, as hopefully in a year or two after the story has hopefully developed, we will have a better idea of how good it is, but its 3 to 3 1/2 stars so far.

As of C1.E3P2.1; I'm loving it! I really like the way "Game of Inches" dev, Remveer handles the harem fantasy. No stumble, bumble, hide and seek, MC knows what he wants and is seeking it out. I can't wait for the MC's twin sister to stop holding back and make her secret desires known. First girl Jessica is looking very promising as lead girl in the harem and Kelly is a total sweetheart. I can see so many possibilities for the "older women" and their functions in MC's life and career. The story is tied together in a very realistic way while still centering the story line around MC and his budding career. Maybe the best symbol of how well this story is being put together is the best friend. He's one of the very, very few "AVN best friends" who don't seem like a complete nerd and abject idiot that needs to be slapped whenever he opens his mouth! He's actually likeable and I'm happy to see him get the girl.

The renders are top tier. Posing is outstanding and facial expression and body language are excellent and still improving. The animations are above average and improving. Best marks go to the story telling. In my opinion, this dev is quickly establishing himself as one of the top writers in the AVN genre.

Even if you aren't into sports or don't really get American football, this story is just too good to pass up. I'd give it 6/5 stars if that were allowed.

This game has a lot of potential. There is a slow build but MC is likeable as are the LI's. There isn't much to complain about but there isn't much to write home about either here. The lack of Lewds 3 episodes in is concerning but I am here for the ride. In my opinion this is one of the best sports AVN's in existence. As always reserve the right to change score based on future episodes but Game of Inches looks to be a good AVN

Very good VN, its a quite promising start so far,
The visuals are amazing, and the soundtrack is quite good
The story is also pretty good and interesting.
The MC is good and he seems quite capable and smooth and the Lis so far are all beautiful and unique.
Although my favorite by far is Sephora and she gonna be my main LI...
(moreover i saw the Virgin tag so i hope its for Sephora and from what i saw in the first chapters she is the type of LI to be a virgin...
so im hopeful in that regard to be correct )
Either way though i certainly i enjoyed it and im recommend it

Not a lot there yet. Story is promising, decently written, so far. Worth keeping an eye on, but there isn't too much to review yet. Graphics are ok, some of the character models are recycled. Nice to see a football game for once

Review version vC1.E2.1

This game is really early not really enough to review , beyond saying I like the renders and animations. I will say what is there I did like alot and look forward to.

The one character you can have sex with I usually dislike having sex that early but with the way the character and lewd scenes were I can't help but feel the MC and her had a connection already from the past. So it didn't bother me as much like it would if she was a random stranger.

The only thing even remotely negative is such a minor nitpick not even worth mentioning . I very much look forward to updates on this game.

Although it is early days, put Game of Inches on your must-play list.

Great start to the AVN. Characters are good looking. Male MC is one I have not seen in countless other AVN's. A few grammatical errors but I have no room to talk on that. Looking forward to further updates. Thanks and good luck dev.

Solid first showing!

The grammar wasn't too bad, some minor spelling issues (glad to see Dev does hotfixes afterward to address them, I missed it apparently!), Bench press animation threw me off for a minute, and need more soph (thought you could have had every render include soph and it still wouldn't be enough for me).

Characters early on are interesting enough to want to follow more of the developments to come.

Girls look pretty good, Just keep working at it and improving your skillset, going to be anticipating more from this game! Good Luck!

A promising start for the game even though the main plot line is bit of a cliche; RIP Dads. The football genre might be the best thing for this game and it makes it unique.

The psychoanalysis in the conversation between characters kept me intrigued in the early parts of the game. The erotic scenes are good enough. I am hopeful about this game and wishing good fortune for the Dev in the coming days.

Game of inches. Good description of the amount of content available right now. However I will say that the content that is packed into those inches was very promising. Right now it is worthy of the 4 stars I gave it and hope it makes it to 5 with more content and more girl interactions in the future. Nice setup for future content as the MC is still in high school and has had a meeting with a college recruiter so there is hope for at least 2 more years of content at minimum. There is high hopes for this one to be even better. Nice Start!

I was torn between a 4 and a 5 star rating.. I'd consider this game somewhere between a 4.2 and a 4.5 so I went with 4. Now for why.

This is just the first release, but there's a fair bit of content for a first release. Nothing is rushed just to get content in the first release either. On a technical level, there are only a few mild problems. There are typos here and there, a few things coded improperly and the animations are a bit stiff. Nothing bad, but it's not perfect so that's ultimately why I docked some points.

As for more subjective artistic notes, I enjoy the story. I don't even like football but the main character and his story is compelling. The only gripe I have with character personalities is that the sister is already coming on a bit strong. Not necessarily a bad thing, some may like it, but it's off-putting to me. I kinda like having to work for it, and she's already clearly into you. The models are also pretty good, though again, not perfect.

All in all, a great first release and I hope the dev can keep it up or even improve. GL Remveer I'll be watching this one with interest.

Bro your game already looks very good in general and I like the plot and the main character very much and the things you should pay attention to are all the female things to watch out for are that all the female characters don't all have identical bodies, please, and that there could be more positions in the sex scenes.
