Ren'Py - Game of Whores [v0.28] [MANITU Games]

One of the better trainer games, especially with the amount of clothing customization, all tied to their corruption level. I wish there was a clear way to check to see when you've seen all the content, but the art and cutscenes are so good I can forgive it.

The amount on content in game is pretty oddly divided however. Feels like you're 65% Daenerys, 25% Sansa, 10% Cersei.

Good story, good animation. But there is a lack of repeatable H scenes that you would want to repeat often. In spite of closeness with the heroines you cannot have sex except in specific situations. Otherwise the story has a lot to offer.

Review is as of Version 0.27, 8 years after initial release.

The art of this game is pretty dang good. I actually like this type of art style a lot. I wish more artists did hand drawn and not AI, like this developer though that's just my personal preference. The story isn't half bad, but could use some work. But that's pretty much all this game has going for it.

The negative aspects is the massive grind, minimal content for 8 years of work, minimal content additions on updates and extremely long wait times in-between updates. MANITU Games appears to be milking this game as hard as possible. For having a large amount of supporters and a loyal fanbase this game should have been completed years ago.

It's hard to give a porn game too low of a score if the art is good. The is generally quite good. However, this is another trainer game with all the draw backs of that style of game. It can be very grindy at times. I think it may have gotten better, but that may only be because there is more content then there used to be.

The other problem is this game is fairly infrequently updated. It's hard to remember what has happened. It isn't fun to replay through the game either. It could be pretty good if some small changes were made. But if you like trainer games, this one has good art.

Conclusion:

I played this game with the Universal Ren'py Mod, and if you choose to play this game, then that mod is a must-have.
Because Game of Whores is a painfully grindy and repetitive game that forces you to rinse and repeat shit to make money and to raise the girls stats, so you can unlock new scenes and quests.
Even with the Mod it felt grindy, and thats why I was pretty relieved when I finally finished my playthrough of this game.
There's barely any story, and even that doesn't make much sense.
There's no questlog, which can be annoying when you don't know what you have to do and just randomly click through places to trigger things.
And the game doesn't tell you if you have reached the end of the version.
But these points are just minor compared to the terrible grind you have to go through.
The content itself isn't even bad and this could be a 3* game.
But it just takes way too long to get to the good parts.
That's why I just don't understand why Devs think it's good gameplay design to put the player through (4-5?) hours of grind to unlock that stuff.

Grindy VN, not worth the time spent, development time is slow and scummy, no gameplay mechanics to look foward, the story is garbage and the visuals do not scale well because they copy paste so much.
Even as a parody it does not a great job either to subvert your expectations, it just keeps being bad.

This game has you grinding for hours doing the same thing over and over just to get enough SP/PP to unlock scenes. Then you need to do specific scenes/activities like going to the park 10-20+ times to unlock new variations/progression. You have to check all of the potential quest givers for new quests occasionally or you will not be advancing the story. None of this is explained and none of this feels necessary. The game would be so much better if it didn't have the inflated gameplay for no reason. The only upside to the having to grind jobs for 100+ days is that you will have enough money to buy most of the things... which are also needlessly time-gated. The only real positive for me personally is the artwork. It's actually pretty decent. It's just not quite worth spending upwards of 5 hours grinding for...

I feel like I should give it a review, since I never did, and I often don't.

I gave it a 5/5, even if there's some adjustments to make, but this game is way better than the earlier versions and keeps improving.

I played it a long time ago, I think there was only Danny at that time. The evolution of her story, the way other character appears, it makes the game really enjoyable. Yes, you need to like Game of Thrones to find an interest in this game - as a lot of r34 games do. But nonetheless, great scenes, great art, great corruption of the main characters, cool NPCs, and some kind of story detached from the books and series, which adds something to the game. And

I want to give my honest opinion about what I don't like in this game though, if that could help the creator : Way too much grinding. I think there's less grinding than in the first versions, but it is still hard to go through the whole game when it's so tedious to gather gold and points. Some other games of this kind has an "easy mode" where you get a lot of gold at the beginning and all actions give ten times more affection points, can skip minigames or whatever. That could be something cool, as some of us play for the grind, and some others for the fun.

The new animation is great, too ! One can only hope there would be more in the future.


But when you activate the console and immediately put max affection points, max sexual points and max gold, the game is amazing. Especially when you already played it twenty times and don't want to do everything again.

Also : There should be a tracker easily accessible for the current quest, and the outfits should stay on. Everytime you send a girl to work, she keeps the work outfit - you have to put the one you want to see her into again.


Overall : Play it, it's worth your time and the creator deserves some love.

Game have very few scenes but they are pretty great. Best to just only check the gallery. Gameplay and interface are just atrocious - you have to click trough many screens every day to send girls to work or talk to them. Super boring and need to be done hundred times over to progres. For some reason there is absurd amount of outfits but they dont amount to anythig...

I've been playing this game for years and i'm thinking about signing the patreon, i'ts just that good!. I'm impressed that it is'nt popular in the site. Overral i'ts a really good art, medium level grinding, because you'll have some reward in the middle of the long course of grinding. The game knows how to play with fetish and how to build tension and get you horny until you resume in a great orgasm. Good amount of content, but you'll have to wait long periods of time to get an update, but they are always big updates.

Great game thus far, waiting for more content certainly! Love the character design that has been used, although it took a bit to get sex scenes the new update made it worth it for sure. Hopefully the game doesnt go full bimbofication of the characters and keeps this path

I love this game, looking forward to see more characters in the future, Melisandre was a nice addition to the main roaster of three girls, Margaery is a must.
I recommend this game for fans of Akabur games, Something Unlimited.

This game really isn’t bad at all. The girls look good, it has some nice slow corruption, and the art has gotten really good for things like dancing and waitress activities. Ever since akibur’s wizard trainer game, I’ve wanted something to scratch the itch of whoring someone out and getting a report back about it. This game has that!

Really, the worst part about this game is lack of content. It’s been 4 years to make a very short game, and at the pace of one scene per character per update, it’ll be a while longer before it feels super fleshed out. But I think they’re definitely producing quality content and they’re on a consistent release schedule now, so I won’t count against them too much.

Also, dev team, if you’re reading this, please don’t make anymore outfits that aren’t used in the story. There’s already over a full screen of outfits to put on daeny and sansa, and they’re really only good to look at for 0.5 seconds before realizing they don’t affect anything in game so why bother. Then you switch back to their waitress/dress/swimsuit look because it’s how they actually dress for scenes. But new usable outfits are always appreciated!

Bad:
Very slow pacing, very little playable content, weak story, almost no sex in it, pacing methods are grind based (point system) and the grind is more intensive than expected.

Good:
Drawn cartoony chicks are decent looking.
i'd like to say some more good things about it but i'm just not finding much other than it has a small storage foot print.

If you were looking for immersive game content or immersive sex game content, this game really doesn't have either of of those qualities.
The title in its current form just doesn't have anything to merit recommending it.

A chore to play.

Essentially you just ping pong between Deneris, the second chick and the bartender, looking for one to have a quest. If they don't? Grind more.
Then grind cash for the outfit they want to move on.
Then grind more.
Then grind more.
Then grind more.
At no point did I ever see any sex in this game. Deneris has a blowjob and cunnilinguis scene, the other chick just sucks your dick. They can both dance.
Oh and the dick sucking? For one of them, not even shown. She just suddenly has cum on her lips and says it was fun.

Now the obvious question is this: What and how do I grind?
You grind
A: Cash for costumes, often needed to progress. These are overpriced to pad the game length.

B: Personal points for the chicks. This is boring as hell to grind. Literally just pick to visit garden or market and see the same seen like 30 times and one out of every 6 or so visits you see a vaguely lewd scene... that you've seen before, because its always the same scene.
Danny has a tedious 'too many clicks' minigame during her visit to one of the areas, while the other is a money sink, so they're both extra grindy, oh boy.

C: The final stat: Slut points. Seemingly 99% of the games contentr is behind this.
The contentr is intentional. Because its content is, essentially, 90% NTR you just don't see. There's no harem here. That tag is wrong. Danny barely does anything with you and while the other chick DOES actually like you, you have to slut her out to see shit too.

The game is frustrating with its lack of any info on what to do yet simutaniously is just 3 rooms large (with a 4th you can occasionally click to progress)
Its grindy as fuck
It has little to no actual sex
The girls, despite this being a 'harem', don't really show any loyalty to you
But at the same time, if you get off on that, on them fucking behind your back, you never see that either
It fails on both ends of the extreme, and doesn't even hit a happy medium, because there is so little actual content beyond the costumes.

The only thing I can praise here is the art, and that's mostly nostaliga for the extremely blatant inspiration.

There's a third chick but she's literally just spamming her singular action like 50 times to see 2 scenes and that's it character done

As per the development progress, I feel there lack improvement to the scene, but feel good handed a short-first story.

There were first to come out the series, so can't judge more at this point.

A really interresting game with some decent content so far. The graphics are really well done and the overall gamplay is satisfying. However, a hint system could be a good addition because you sometimes keep grinding without really knowing where you are going. Pretty good game overall.

Honestly took me untli now to finally come round to this game and i have to say ist actually awesome.
Even though i never watched GOT i could understand enough of the Story to not loose interest (which for a porn game is a big compliment in my opinion) and the artstyle is high Quality, with many cutscenes and pics so you dont get Blue Balls while playing through this game. kinda reminded me a bit of Akaburs artstyle which also is a big compliment in my opinion.

All in all a surprisingly good game even for non GOT watchers and it has good length, so you wont be done with it after 2-3 sessions. This, combined with the fact that it hase some fine pace with how and when it sprinkles ist H-Scenes makes this one of the best games i have played on here.

What can I say? The new update is pretty Good. The sex scene between Cersei and our Protagonist is excellent, the third stage of the competition leaves a bit to be desired (would be better if you can change angle), and the dialouge is superb. It does seem like old saves do not work on this, but it only took me a pinch over an hour to get to the new stuff from start. I am dissapointed that all the devs care about is money, but hey, thats capitalism for you. But who am I to complain? I am getting this game for free, and the only insight I offer is a review like this on a site where guaranteed 80 percent of people don't pay for the game. Thats cool though. I am looking forward to continuing where I left off in the game after my tanks refuel so to speak, and when 0.13 drops sometime next month. This was an excellent early birthday gift for me (birthday is tomorrow). Thank you to Manitu, and all those that post here. See you for the next Update!
