Game vs imagination vs reality

Hi All,

I just want to make a sort of social question regarding a real-life situation which you can transform into the porn game:
Just imagine, you are 29th years old married technical leader (the lowest managing position for the software engineer), who is working on the world known company in EU with the ~7k EUR per month salary.
Character parameters:
Physical: below average
IQ: 133
If it was some porn game, how will you move forward with that starting options?

Long answers are appreciated.

Thanks,

Hey,
I hope this is not too negative I would like to give positive feedback.

Your question doesn't have much substance, the information you give basically provides no reason to start a discourse on it.

I recommend you to watch some videos on basic storytelling.
That will help you think through what you have, how to work with it and witch questions to ask.

Take these for example:

A little initiative can't hurt
Good luck :D

Hey,

Thank you for the feedback and nice videos (especially the second one).
That was actually my intention to make this question dull and boring. The thing is, in games usually, something happens with the main character + he is usually developing himself from scratch to move the plot, to make it interesting, etc.

Here, you have already functional, dull, developed NPC which I offer to turn into the main character with minimal info regarding its background and I'm just asking which actions, but not events from your point of view can put that plot more interesting without providing any additional info and without the appearance of any superpower (+ sorry I didn't mention it).

Or maybe a better sample will be if you just take some random friend irl and make him a MC in your porn game mainly based on actions that are triggering events and not vice versa.

Thank you :)

Step 1 is to demand a raise. A degree in software engineering and I've worked my way up the corporate ladder to management, I should be making way more than 84k a year. Step 2 I start making a porn game in my free time. That kind of meta narrative seems to be popular in porn games. Step 3 ??????

Actual narrative is where this scenario falls apart. You've given a character description that says very little about the environment. Does being in the EU matter, beyond the fact that as an American I'm bound by our Constitution to give all the characters an annoyingly over the top accent? Who cares about where the character works unless it has a reason to introduce attractive LIs? Why even bother listing the character's IQ? And of course his looks are below average, he's a well established nerd. If he was 20 years older he'd probably be the ugly bastard of a female protagonist game.

Honestly this prompt almost seems like that trope where someone asks how to help "a friend" that is clearly just them. As if you propped yourself up a couple positions in the workplace, tacked on 15 IQ points, and now you're asking a porn forum how porn tropes can get you laid... but as a writing prompt for a game.

Kill this boring character and drop him into an isekai story instead.
We can't say the character is boring, we know nothing regarding his personality.

Same feeling for me, with a bit of "I don't care this much if I'm fired for sexual assault".
After all, most romance as they happen in games are nothing more than this. The MC grope the girl because as player we assume that if we have this possibility, then the girl will not complain ; or complain for the show. But in real life it could backfire really fast and hard.

It doesn't even matter.
He works as a boring engie, in boring EU, on boring planet Earth.
Plus also tied down to a marriage.. ugh.
Boring enough for me to be bored to tears.
We should be calling truck-kun not discussing this.:coffee:

Step 1 should you start your startup on your free time to show off your skills.

Once you are noticed you have 2 choices they promote you in corporate level or they start buy out your startup.

In startup best outcome to be noticed on corprate ladder is to have also team you manage even if its small.

So in the end there is multiple outcomes: corporation buys out your business and promotes you, they invest in your business and try to merge it with company and you also get promotion or you leave corporation and docus building you startup
