This is NOT the top down dungeon game with a similar premise. You have a bat familiar and the girl comes in looking for treasure, and you make a dungeon that is meant to keep her interested enough to become corrupted without being too easy to complete or too hard. It was a side scroller and management sim, and the monsters could rape her.

Though I had a Hunch you're looking for a very old game where the MC are old man with glowing white eye and wearing all purple include the horned hat and robe.

I remember it having animation but I could be wrong.
I cannot remember if it's rpgm, wolf rpg, or something else, but I do recall it worked with mtool so probably rpgm.

I played it in english but I had mtool, so I can't remember if it was actually english or if I translated it. I know I used it for cheats.
It's none of these. The actual map was sidescrollery, and you placed down chests, monsters, traps and buildings on each square.
