This game was a 3dcg VN from a few years ago. I don't remember much details. From what I remember, the male MC's parents were in some kind of weird family, and the parents end up getting murdered. I remember that the intro of the game ended with the MC coming home to find his parents dead and his mother (or landlady or whatever) is hanging on the ceiling after an seemingly innocent prologue. The scene only shows her legs so it is only implied that she was hanged. But, I think there were some update images that shows she is still partially alive and hanging by her wrist or something.
I think the game's creator was going for some kind of paranormal aspect, too. There were some flashbacks and whatnot to what led up to this point. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I remember waiting patiently because I was hoping the creator would follow the MC's revenge arc.
