I’ve seen a few threads like this, but most of them seemed pretty old.
As the title suggests, I’m looking for games that involve a power-shift dynamic — where someone weaker, smaller, or considered the subordinate ends up taking control over their counterpart. I generally prefer when the protagonist is the one submitting, but if the story is great, I don’t mind it being the other way around.
Another important thing for me is that if the protagonist is the one submitting, there should still be an option to choose whether you play as dominant or submissive. It’s not as interesting when the only possible path is to submit. Fake choices leading nowhere are not great.
Finally, I’m not a fan of having to lose fights just to unlock a single scene that doesn’t lead to anything meaningful afterward. Given the kink involved, I know a lot of games use that approach, but I don’t find it an enjoyable way to access or experience the content.
Some of the examples I have in mind come from spanking-focused games, since role reversal and “table-turning” are common in those. However, I’m also completely open to games that have nothing to do with spanking.

A really great game by Ben987. It focuses almost entirely on choosing whether you want to be dominant or submissive and on bondage elements. The prequel had some student-over-teacher scenes, but this sequel is much more focused on shifting power dynamics in school setting. The game isn’t finished yet, but updates are consistent and there’s already a lot of content. From the same creator, there’s Bondage Brawl, which includes scenes of a maid dominating a noble, but the game currently has a smaller amount of content and development has been paused for now.
Sheroni Girls — janitor over Earth’s protector — female protagonist
Fun story. What I really like is that losing to mind control actually leads to a full plotline where you help the janitor build his harem, instead of just a single throwaway scene. The route is a good length with solid scenes. There’s a real choice between giving in and resisting, and both paths offer plenty of content. Pruely female on female content.
SpanQuestDX — student over teacher / sister over brother — female or male protagonist
A very good spanking-focused game. Some scenes are short, but most have proper buildup, so they still feel satisfying. In every interaction you can choose whether to be dominant or submissive (spank or be spanked). There’s a huge variety of scenes — from spanking a parent in front of their kids to stop them from misbehaving to letting the usual spankee finally try being the spanker at your cost. Because of the creator’s health issues I’m not sure the game will be finished, but there’s already a lot of content, and hopefully the creator gets better.
Hard Times in Hornstown — maid over boss / sexbot over owner — female or male protagonist
A good game with lots of different content. The routes I mentioned have a decent amount of material, especially the second one, which gives you meaningful choices between acting submissive or dominant. Overall it’s a fun and sizeable game.
The Enslavement War — slave over master — male protagonist
This is exactly the kind of content I’m looking for. Unfortunately the game is abandoned and in a pretty rough state, but the core idea is great. There’s a real choice between domination and submission, though overall it lacks both gameplay and scenes.

Not finished yet, but the idea is interesting. There’s some content, although still on the lighter side. You can dominate a strong tomboy or be dominated by a smaller girl or femboy (you can choose the character’s gender).

The game itself is absolutely worth mentioning — lots of content, lots of choices to submit or resist corruption, and even when you get “captured,” there’s more than just a single scene followed by a game over.

A really good mind-control-focused game. Depending on your choices, the main character can end up being dominated by either a bratty classmate or the bookish librarian. Aside from those routes, most paths involve the protagonist dominating fellow students or teachers. The game has unique gameplay mechanics for taking control over others. Overall, a very fun experience.
Kana Sensei — daughter over mother — female protagonist
A spanking-focused game with good models and animations. Unfortunately, there’s still only a small amount of this specific kind of content, and updates are slow. Still, there’s hope the protagonist will eventually get what she deserves from her students. Purely female-on-female content.
Justicar — subordinate over boss / goblin girl over captured villager — female protagonist
Another spanking-focused game. You play as a sheriff tasked with disciplining criminals. Despite holding a dominant position, you can choose to behave submissively toward some subordinates. Scenes are unfortunately quite short and repeatable. Purely female-on-female content.
The Elven Paladin — maid over noble / soldier over supirior — female protagonist
Also a spanking-focused game with purely female-on-female content. The scenes are decent, though there’s usually only single moments featuring the weaker character overpowering the stronger one. Still, the writing is interesting and the overall experience is fine.

A mind-control drug focused game. You can corrupt your sister into becoming either dominant or submissive. The same goes for your mother and your boss. Good scenes, lots of branching paths, and plenty of customization. Fun to play overall.

There are a few scenes where students corrupt their teacher, though I wouldn’t quite call it a full path. I played it a long time ago, so my memory is a bit hazy, but from what I remember, it’s a decent game.

A rich story with multiple endings. I played it a long time ago, so I can’t provide many details, but it’s worth mentioning.
Fashion buisness — secretary form fellow firm over fired boss — female protagonist
The story mainly focuses on a fall from grace. There’s not much you can actively do to prevent anything, but I think there are some dominant scenes. It’s at the bottom of the list because it doesn’t fully match what I’m looking for (the MC is mostly submissive, and since she’s already fired, she’s technically the inferior one during most scenes). Also, the game is split into massive parts that take up a ton of space. Still, I felt it was at least worth mentioning.
