Hello everyone,
As the title says, I'm looking for games like Deviant Anomalies: https://f95zone.to/threads/deviant-anomalies-v0-9-5-moolahmilk.65454/
Some of my favorite things about it are:
(subpoints are explanations, feel free to skip if you don't want to read so much)
Which are some of your favorites?
Edit: Whitespace got cut when I posted, made it hard to read.
Edit2: Whitespace refuses to stay between subpoints and the following point. Added a single empty subpoint bullet to help with legibility. If anyone knows why whitespace added with shift+enter below indented bullets gets eaten when posting, I'd love to know why this happens.

Some of my favorite things about it are:
(subpoints are explanations, feel free to skip if you don't want to read so much)
- The investigative premise
- I like mysteries, and I think that looking for new information is a much more interesting way to progress than a stat / "love" system which usually involves grinding (though the game does technically feature these things but they're really not something you have to dote on - they kinda felt like the dev intended on doing something with them and then just didn't, though I haven't played in a while so maybe I'm a bit off).
- The darker fetishes (rape and incest)
- At least one of the interrogation scenes is just ... Wow. Goes without saying I don't condone that type of stuff IRL, but I like my games to be as far removed from my own life as possible - otherwise, I might as well just watch porn or go do something productive.
- The paranormal element
- In the same vain as the last point, I like stuff that I can't just experience irl 'if I just do better'. Portal from hell opens and you suddenly find yourself with a disoriented humanoid demon in your living room? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I aint gonna tell you what to do with it, but I aint gonna judge you either hah.
- The somewhat stereotypical characters
- "Moe Lester" the pervert? Bruh. You love to hate him. The sexually repressed nerdy scientist trying to study men to get laid? She's hilarious and adorable. Probably like half of the characters can fit pretty cleanly into one stereotype or another, but they're written in a way that's got enough depth where they feel familiar in a good way, while still being their own character. It strikes a really nice balance, in my opinion, though I'd be open to something with more character development too (as long as the writing for both the sex and development are as well written or better than DA).
- The art style
- I'm cool with a bunch of different styles, but I find that a lot of attempts at 3d come off looking a bit 'plasticky'... Not necessarily uncanny, but kinda stiff and they really don't do much for me. This game has some really terrific renders though and the girls look fantastic, imo.
- Honorable mention: The puzzles
- There aren't a ton, and they're not too complex, but they make sense and that's good enough for me. I like games that make you think a bit, without running into the trap of having to be able to guess what the dev was thinking (puzzles should be solvable through a chain of logical inference, either from clear context clues or environmental objects - if any degree of mental gymnastics are required, it's often just poorly designed). I hate having to open a walkthrough not to screw myself or to get unstuck - breaks any kind of immersion.
