I have also played rance 8. Im basically looking for games like these that are actually rewarding to play and easy to sink hours into.

Venus Blood Frontier has pretty nice gameplay and is easy to sink time into. It is somewhat similar to Eiyuu Senki, except the protagonist is a Rance instead of an Aster. The game has multiple endings variations on who you have the most romance tokens with and how many good-boy/apathetic-imperialist points you have. Most of the cg's are going to be humiliation struggle snuggles instead of the more passionate love from Kamidori, Evenicle, or Eiyuu (The exceptions being the 1 romance cg you get per game for going Lawful). Even though there isn't too much passionate snuggling, there is plenty of friendly banter to have with your commanders to make you feel bad for trying to turn them into your personal kinky sith-lords.
The gameplay is still pretty good even if the systems aren't explained that well, you kind of eventually figure out what units to put together in a team and how to split your squads to take territories in a blitzkrieg.
