Recommending Games like Renryuu Ascension but without combat?

Hey Guys and Gals,

Ive been playing a lot of Renryuu Ascension recently and enjoy it very much, but its quite... complex, if that is the right word (not english native here). There are so many mechanics (Normal combat, squad leader combat, crafting, overworld map, etc.) and I really enjoy more of the questing itself (without fighting) and exploring the world.

I understand that Combat is a huge element of RPMG and I still enjoy the game, but fighting and the other mechanics drag the game out a bit (still gonna finish it, I believe).

So any game that plays similar like this but without the mayor RPG elements of Combat, crafting, etc.?

Bonus points if its not to hard on Monsters and Furries (Renryuu Level is fine imho)

Maybe this? Though some of the characters are monsters/furries, and MC is not a ruler. For VN, there's this. Oh, and APC has the whole RPGM exploration thing without a real combat system.
