Okay, so I looked through the threads here for a bit but couldn't really find anything satisfying.
What I was hoping to find was a non-VN game with atleast somewhat good plotline with some sweet romance (on atleast one of it's routes if not linear).
I am not really a fan of 3D art (something about it just doesn't appeal to me) unless the story is very well done so 2D art is preferred.
As for game style, anything other than a pure VN with negligible choices works for me but something of a RPGM style would be really nice.
Off the top of my head, if I were to give an example of what I would like:
Ideology in Friction | Shinobu-kun, the Only Girl at Boys School (game length is irrelevant)
tl;dr
- Good plotline with romance
- Not a pure VN with barely any player choices, but VN-like games that lean more towards dating sims with lots of choices to make work
- Something of RPGM sort is preferred but others work too
- 2D art is preferred but 3D works if really good plotline
- Bad events in game are okay as long as avoidable.
