Like movies, some games go on for a bit too long and should've ended sooner. What games do you think should've ended already? For me the most obvious answer is games like Elena's Life, Lily of the Valley and Lida's Adventure. They're pretty much the same thing. Good girl gets in trouble and fucks her way out. It gets very repetitive. 8+ hours of a new fat/old guy fucking you each scene is too long.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I feel like Sisterly Lust is approaching that for me. I havent played the latest update, but the story just isnt engaging to me anymore like it once was. Maybe Im alone there, but I used to really look forward to those updates and play them as soon as they came out - now its a lot further down on my list of favorite games.

I agree with DMD. Even though the game is in my top 10, the pace with D is my biggest issue. Seriously over 30+ updates and still a virgin? With quarterly updates now, we may not see it until 2020. I worry that Melody will be pretty much the same thing.
Big Brother should have ended long before it got abandoned. If he'd spent those months finishing the mom and little sister plots the game would have been complete and he could have started a sequel with the other plots if he really wanted to milk it, but instead he abandoned it and went on to Glamour.

You see, creating and getting past the taboo of your relationship is the goal of the first game. The second game has the goal of getting her back. If written well both games would have a great reason to exist, you just need to make D consistent, and fix the pacing.
You're not wrong, but I disagree with your "solution". DmD has a pacing problem. It also has a consistency issue, when it comes to D's maturity. What it isn't doing, however, is telling a story with no meaning.

I think the problem with Sisterly Lust is that he never did develop the overarching plot. I assume the whole "morality police" thing is going to be a bigger deal, or at least, it should have been. Personally I like the development of the relationships, so I'm fine with the game still existing. I also never really was "invested" in the plot. I suggest sisterly lust because it has great character work, but it doesn't do a very good job of giving the MC a real antagonist, the only one was the eldest sister's boyfriend, and he was dealt with early.

Would have said DmD, but since that is already mentioned by others I will go with Man of the House. Don't get me wrong, I like Veronica (mother is also a fine specimen) but I seriously feel like the game has lost its steam. Every update feels pretty empty and uninspired, almost to the same extent where Big Brother was at the end.
Just make an update with the harem ending and finish the game.

As I see it, it will come back in the future. MC don't have problem with money, he can make his whole family live without having to works... especially if they live in a small island where incest is fully legal. So, for me it wasn't just a rebellion against Patreon's ban (since it occurred few times after), but a full part of the game. It's still just an introduction, but for me it will be the justification of the ending.
MC fuck all his family, every one is fully aware of that and accept it... and that's where most of harem incest game (plan to) stop ; "thanks to you, don't hesitate to play my new game next month". But, it don't feel like an ending. What happen exactly ? How do they live this in their day by day life ? How can they live like that in a Western country ?
Even if in this country incest is legal and shared-couple morally tolerated, doing both at once will still be hard to live. "He sleep with his mother/sister", so what, as long as they both agree ? "He sleep with all the women in the house", so what, as long as they all agree ? "He sleep with all the women in the house, who are his mother and sisters", well, er... ok, it start to be weird...
But give them a strong reason to quit the country, while giving them a place where they can live their incestuous love in the open. And you have a real believiable end to the story. You can even add one or two updates that will describe this new life. It's not up to the player to imagine what happen next and how, the story give it to them.

At the moment Sisterly Lust is one of my favourite games that include the "standard"-incest formula. But what makes it more unique are the Fetishes that are included there. It is quite BDSM-themed and I enjoy that. So at the moment I don't want to see an ending too soon and I hope the drama doesn't get too big. I want to enjoy a game and not cry while playing it
That's kinda what my fear is, that he didn't put enough thought into it, that there isn't a clear antagonist, and that as a wealthy and incredibly attractive protagonist in a porn game, things have been too easy for him. If the morality thing had a bigger presence going forward (I haven't played the recent update yet) then we could very well see a purpose for it continuing, but I still think it took too long to build into anything.
I enjoy the sex in this game a lot, between that and the characters it keeps me playing, but as i said above, there's nothing driving the story forward. There's no goal other than "gotta fuck em all". A story doesn't have to be dramatic and tear jerking to have meaning. If anything this game should make use of the Heist formula. It's already had a few to set this up, with how you deal with both older sisters' problems, as well as the cloak and dagger situation with your mom. Well I don't always need a story to like playing a game, but of course I don't mind it. There will definitly be more drama with the moral police and maybe with the church. But as I said I don't really mind any Slice of Life type games.
I have the feeling that there is going to be some drama with the MCs past somehow.
Even Slice of Life has to have a definite narrative, and a lot of comedy, which Sisterly Lust doesn't really have. I really like sisterly lust, but it has a lot of wasted potential.

They aren't violating Rule 7. You don't have to like their content, but not liking their content is not a reason for a game to be ended. And for that matter, I should have kept A wife and Mother in here, since a lot of people seem to like it. Not all adult games are about hardcore porn every 5 minutes.
Parental Love sometimes takes 3 months to update. Luxee is one of my favorite developers. Writing isn't easy. It takes time to think things through and come up with a story that really fits. If a developer needs an extra month or two to put out something quality, then let them have it.
You don't know what someone can and can't do. Some people have time. Going back to my above comment about writing not being easy, a great way to decompress when you've hit a wall on one story, is to do some work on another. It allows your brain to think differently for a while and when you come back to the other story you're refreshed and ready to write.
What if the game is abandoned because Patreon shuts them down? Seriously, you should sit back and watch other people talk for a while, because you're not ready to engage in polite discussion with other people yet. You're judgemental, rude, and hyper opinionated without anything to back yourself up. Take a seat.
