If yes, that means in the game: My GF advanced to the dancer class, the game would say, "This is your girlfriend, she just got a job as a dancer. You can now walk around and explore the game with her." You'd also be able to name your character, so you can fully self insert for maximum immersion.
So, wouldn't you prefer to play: My GF advanced to the dancer class, in first person? Then while playing, you truly believe that your GF isn't cheating on you, but she always takes time to step away for some reason. After a while, you start to go and try to see what she's up to, but she and the other guys are smart, and they always seem to hide the fact they're cheating from you. So you suspect it, but you can't be sure. This is more immersive IMO, don't you think? Then based on how you RP, you can discover she is cheating on you, feeling the sting of NTR, or you can continue to be fooled by them, never truly knowing if she's cheating on you. Only problem is, how do you see the porn? Well, maybe the story has a way to show you she's getting fucked by other guys without seeing her face, so you can't be sure it's her, but you start to suspect it more and more.
Don't you prefer self insertion for maximum immersion, or do you prefer the third person where the game doesn't say "YOU", but refers to the MC in third person? If you prefer the latter, then your post should be similar to, "Games where you control an antagonist, referred to in third person, who walks around while getting cucked, while you get to see the GF cheat on him with other guys." There is no YOU or self insertion in this context. Which do you like better?
From all my research, I've found that a self insertion first person pov can produce far more powerful feelings of netorare, rather than being in third person, with the immersion breaking mechanic of magically being able to see her cheating, but your character is oblivious; this breaks immersion and dampens the eroticism, not enhancing it. (Sorry for grammar errors, I"m in a hurry).
Some may argue that this is all subjective, but I believe that's not true.

Narration doesn't say, "This is your girlfriend." Honestly I'm fine with either I'm sure the others more immersive but I really feel it when I do get to magically see it happen even if it's immersion breaking. The appeal of I can explain it is almost from both the character you play as and from the cheater and seducers. Like the appeal is having a character wonder around doing their thing/quest and the cheater is going around getting seduced or just straight up cheating for w/e purpose and getting to see both sides simultaneously and not cutting back and forth is hot to me. I think my girlfriend advanced does it perfectly. On the topic of which perspective I play from I'm sure a game that allows me to choose my perspective and having it be a self insert would be hotter but over all it's all still fiction and I find myself being able to immerse myself to these premade characters and I find an enjoyment in putting myself in this characters shoes w/e those shoe may be. Honestly I'm just a fan on ntr but a lot of it doesn't quiet get there for me bc I have a specific and picky taste. So my favorite perspective would have to be this first person and a half perspective if that makes any sense. Not fully removed from the cucks perspective as it becomes to much like a visual novel but also not just their perspective bc then you kinda just get blue balled (which I get is sort of the point of ntr but I like the duel view more for me). Anyways thanks for asking and tbh I didn't even consider the differences till this so.
