A lot of RPGMaker games have the armorbreak feature. Most of the time it is depending of the characters HP and if you heal your Character again so does your armor.

In games like these, the armor breaks if you are attacked too often or by chance, but not dependent of the HP.
It's quite hard to find games like these, at least for me.
