Lately I've been looking for games with sad and depressed characters, but I couldn't find that many.
I really enjoyed Katawa Shoujo (Nanako's route), Teaching Feeling and Crimson Gray.
I prefer games with 2D graphics, and I don't really care if they have 18+ content or not, that's just a bonus.
I'd like something that includes self harm, but it's not mandatory (could only find Yuri from the well known DDLC).
Lastly, it must be romance based. (i.e. get to know the characters and slowly find your way into their hearts)
