I'm looking for a good game with detailed character customization. I've always loved games where I can adjust my character to my liking. I don't care what kind of customization is present; just the details and complexity matter.
The character customization can be stat-based with perks, synergies and whatnot or purely appearance-based with detailed clothing systems or whatever.
It doesn't matter, as long as it's relatively detailed and has depth beyond just simply assigning stats or choosing between hair1 or hair2. The nature of the system doesn't matter to me. And the genre doesn't matter as well, I play all sorts of games.
I prefer pixel-art graphics, but anything is fine, even text-based games I enjoy. With one exception, 3DCG games. There's nothing wrong with those games, they're most likely good games judging by their popularity. But I've never liked the unity-store asset-looking 3D models. 3d games are fine, I just don't want *that* aesthetic. The realistic-looking but not quite real look, stylised 3d models are fine.
I prefer games that give me character customization at the very start, but games that start with preset characters are fine as long as I can customize them later. A female main character is also a preference, but again, it is not mandatory.
Of course, actual gameplay would be nice. I'm not looking for a dress-up doll game.
I've played Lilith's Throne before, it's one of my favourite games because of the character customization, being detailed in both the stats and appearance customization. And I love Tales Of Androgyny's combat stances and the details of the perks system.
Of course, these are merely the type of games I would like. I don't expect games of that level of quality.
