I just played some of lessons in love and I have to say I really enjoy the story that each character has some of them deal with real life problems for one example one girl has a weight problem and she is seen trying to puke after eating and another girl was crying a lot after getting rejected and I felt pretty bad after watching that but some other times the game is also very fun and interesting. But I havent seen other games portray such emotions in this way where it makes you emphasize and feel for the girls. So any game that has a decent level of emotion in it with romance and fun and sometimes sadness is welcome here.

Here's games that have made me tear up: They offer a strong natrative, good writing, good humor, while offering strong emotions at the same time.

Out of Touch by Story Anon (almost all girls have a sad backstory, hell even MCs gone thru very horrible things...but the game manages to be some of the most wholesome moments with the cast)
My Bully is My Lover by Niichan (Emma solo ending)
The DeLuca Family (Luna backstory)
Projekt Passion by Classy Lemon (Ashe arc is quite emotional)
Beyond Tomorrow by Dream Games (parental platonic love and dealing with adult issues for once)
Artemis by digiB (MCs struggles and mental health stuff along wirh the supportive cast is very emotional)
Chasing Sunsets by Chasing Fox Studios (incest done right, very emotional and hilarious at times)

No problem! Just so you know that Out of Touch is very long and takes some time for h scenes to roll in. There's also stuff happening early that don't make sense (there's one scene in particular) until you get down the next chapters so hopefully that won't scare you off.

Believe it or not Apartment #69 fits in here.
You wouldn't guess it from the tags but one of the characters is a very sincere and grounded portrayal of a trans teenager. That may or may not be your thing when it comes to porn games but it has a lot of emotional heft. Or more than I expected anyway. Her story is also a bit tragic so be aware of that too.
(Also the game's not actually abandoned the updates are just slow.)
