I tried star knightess, but the grind was insanely slow for me sadly and I dropped it after like 5ish hours.
Try as I might, can't really get into textbased :/

I really think the concept is cool, but I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about the grind/tedious repetition. What are your thoughts?

It can be a bit much.. but I don't mind as long as there is a progression in stats/corruption, and you unlock further images in that way.
To be honest, I haven't been playing it as often as I find the constant blackmail/ forced situations etc to be a bit too dark for my tastes.

SKA doesn't really have grind imo (though I'll concede it doesn't have a high H-to-gameplay ratio), but FB has terrible repetition starting from early in ep 2. A lot of the event chains seem like they could have been condensed, but I dunno. It feels padded as hell, like you need to come in 3 times to complete a single photoot, you can't do it all at once, you have to do several to progress, and that's a running theme in the game. That said, you can play ep 1 and see if it's your thing thematically, at that point it's a pretty standard VN format.
