I've already played The Last Sovereign. I don't consider Katawa Shoujo a porn game, bun in case someone was gonna suggest it, I've played it too.

elvensang If you like fantasy this one has imo the best worldbuilding out there and my top recommendation for you.

ripples Time travel and scifi, so far its good time will tell how deep it goes and how it handles paradoxes.

eternum Fantasy with some scifi, great humor, great worldbuilding.

above-the-clouds Also awesome humor, not so deep plot as the ones previously mentioned.

price-of-power Romance medieval fantasy, romance focus with good worldbuilding.

the-swordbearer Fantasy, super chill and feel good vibes.

tune-in-to-the-show Honestly is mostly a dating sim but with good writing and refreshing enough story.

fates-collide Also a dating sim, very good character building and dialogues, not much of a story so far may want to wait a little.

Academy34 WIP Funny writing, Andre best girl.

Deliverance Supernatural murder mystery with some Magic elements set in the modern world

MIST Apocalyptic story with a strange Mist that houses "shadows" that attacks people with small hints of Magic

A Dance with Rogues has the best writing.

If you want something more visual novel-ish, try GGGB and Naked Ambition (already got recommended here) or Japanese games such as Swan Song or Eternal Tornment.
