I'm looking for games which give the "MC keeps going back to the Wolves' Den/Dangerous NPC, while ignoring all the red flags and crossed lines" feel, either as a main or side quest.
The prime example for this theme is Corruption of Champions, when you encounter the centaur Kelt, and keep participating in his archery lessons. There's slow build-up, excuse (the valuable lessons!) and optionality (you can opt out early when things start getting dubious, or simply stop going to them).
Apart from CoC this theme was also present in TiTS, but in my opinion it wasn't as well executed as in CoC.
