I am trying to find some games with monster girls and preferably a male protagonist. Something like monster girl island just not as bad. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Monster Girl Tailes is petty similar. All the male protagonist games with monster girls are listed here, most aren't 3D like Monster girl Island though. Mythic Manor is a good (none 3D) game, but most of the time the girls don't look like monster girls.

monster girl quest, its a classic but its worth recommending if you have not played it
