do you actually prefer HS renders over Daz or others or is this just a coincidence?

I don't really mind if it's DAZ or HS or whatsoever... but I like well-thought stories with character-depth and casual nudity as one of the main themes, where I can easily follow and "feel" the told story by just watching the given series of images. Big surplus if they are also very well written.
That may be just easier to kick off in HS than in DAZ or even hand-drawn images, which take much more time to produce.

I really enjoyed Wolf of Shadow (https://f95zone.to/threads/wolf-of-shadow-v0-7-9-verehrer.165599/), but the dev hasn't released anything in like over a year, and though he still seems to be making progress he is struggling hard and moving at a glacial pace. While it's not officially listed as abandoned I wouldn't be surprised if there is only one last update before the dev calls it a day, or it's another over a year update. May as well be abandoned. Was a very unique RPGM game.

I believe one of the criteria for a game to be abandoned on f95 the dev has to be radio silent on his/her own platforms. If this dev is still communicating it'll stay not abandoned.

Yeah. Just the updates tend to be not amazingly inspiring.

I hope he can do it because I love a good unique take on RPGMaker.

i like casual nudity too, especially within family. most games tend to overdo it at some point.

maybe you'd like Barony Sengia's (completed) game/s?
iirc. you get field-of-view stealth, killing too many guards raises level of alert, and you get choice of path (class - thief, assassin, seducing), also dice-rolls.
