Incredibly, this game, with the guide, is more digestible than Lise and the Town of Trials, which is from the same developer. Even so, it still leaves much to be desired.
The cutscenes are interesting, but most are disconnected and random. The only connected ones are the train stalker and the rich kid; there's nothing more to the rest, even though they could have easily included more scenes.
I don't understand what they were trying to do with this game. With Lise, we got text, more text, more text, few scenes, and on top of that, they were repetitive. But with Ai, we barely get any scenes, and only one with each character.
I understand to a certain extent what they're trying to do, but this annoying habit of requiring a certain level of lust to trigger a scene is frustrating, and it's the worst thing about both Lise and this game. The game tries to be intuitive, but without a guide, you're screwed.
I'd give it a 2.5 because, despite everything, there were several good scenes, and since Lise's game bored me so much that I dropped it, now that I've finished this one, I feel better. Oh, since I can't give it a 2.5, I'll give it a 3 because, wow, there are some scenes that are really worth it.
