Genisis 8.1 expressions and morphs

Hi,

For some reason, genisis 8.1 figures seem to have very limited expressions and morphs, unlike genisis 8. I've tried redownloading the essentials packages from daz, both through the installer and manually, but it still doesnt fix the issue. Also I downloaded an expressions package for 8.1, and it does nothing to the figure.

there is a reason for that is...

it's because genisis 8.1 are new just came out a year ago or so...

so there won't be a lot expressions and morphs out yet

But it's odd, even the expressions I did download which are designed for 8.1, don't seem to be working.

How are you applying them?

Like I always do, put them into my content folder in DAZ, always works for gen 8 models.

No. How are you applying them to figures? Double clicking the expression or via sliders in the parameters?

I have tried both, sliders in the parameters tab, and applying them from the expression icon menu.

Yeah I read through that and tried to follow where it says to look for the folders for Genisis 8.1, but it's like they don't exist on my end, so I tried reinstalling all the packages, via the installer. Apparently it comes packaged with the current gen 8 packs. But it's still not showing up. I've never been so confused.
