So, um, yeah, that's totally right (what's under the quotation marks). So, what was the toss about? Toward what opinion the throw was made?Just going to jump in here and toss out an "A woman showing initiative and seducing a male is not femdom in any way shape or form and you should feel bad for thinking it is."
In my opinion, if somebody likes pure maledom games (like Grandma's House) and dislikes pure femdom games at the same time, it's kinda funny (but misleading to others) to hear that particular somebody speaking about liking (gentle) femdom.
People are looking for a mystical "gentle femdom" thingy (which they can't even describe properly in details) since around 2012 I think. That is, in english-speaking Internet communities. And everybody who talks about it got a different view about it's border lines, about what it consists of, and a tag never have been implemented anywhere btw. And most of the things the people who talk about it really like... are not even labeled as femdom anywhere. That's some serious contradiction here.
tl;dr: Women showing initiative are not "dominating" anyone, but it doesn't mean the ones who dominate can't be the one who initiate action. I think it's just a common misunderstanding to bind these things as something totally related to one another. Somebody just said the word combo in the past and it got viral somehow, in particular circles. Yet, for a new person in a world of adult fiction content it could be a seriously misleading thing.
