Getting a screenshot of a Koikatsu character without background

Is there an easy way to get a screenshot of a character I've made in Koikatsu or Emotion Creators without a background, or will I just have to photoshop it? I'd like to use these as sprites in renpy (because I prefer that to whole scenes).

If it's like other Illusion games, one of the F-keys should turn off the background and then you can take a screenshot.
