Getting tired of Mega's BS

So I've used Mega for quite some time now. It used to be a pretty good way to download these games. Recently however, they've dropped majorly in quality. Much slower download speeds, longer waits between resets of transfer quota, downloads sometimes not finishing because of transfer quota (like it keeps retrying to start download again but it just can't). Today has by far been the worst it has ever been. I just finished downloading a game and Mega said I had only used 2.6 GBs of data on my transfer quota (Which sounds about right cause that's how big the game was). So I decide to download an update for another game I play from here that's about 1 GB. As soon as I click download it goes from 2.6 GBs used to 5 GBs used and that my transfer quota has been exceeded. That is some major BS.

Now, I know what some of you will tell me to use a VPN and just change my location. Two problems with that. 1. It's my roommate's network, he's already using a VPN and I for one am not going to ask him to change locations so I can finish downloading a porn game. 2. That does not fix the slower download speeds or the transfer quota randomly exceeding even when it shouldn't be yet. If anything it's a band-aid for the latter issue.

unfortunately with Nopy going the way of the Dodo, there aren't any options left with free high download speeds.

yeah Mega used to be really good but they became really suck, I guess that's what happens when you became really popular.
Zippy is still cool though but I can't even restore password let alone make a new account there.

Now, I know what some of you will tell me to use a VPN and just change my location. Two problems with that. 1. It's my roommate's network, he's already using a VPN and I for one am not going to ask him to change locations so I can finish downloading a porn game.

Sounds like a personal problem. Most VPNs allow multiple devices on the same account, so either have your roommate give you his account details or get your own VPN.
