VN - HTML - Completed - Getting to Know Christine [v1.0] [Tora Productions]

I rated 5* to bump up the overall, and 4* didn't quite seem good enough, 4.25-4.5* feels better.
Though "dated" compared to newer stuff, this is a solid 4*, 4.5* VN/game, even compared to newer creations. Renders still hold up, look pretty good. The story is interesting, makes you want to play around with options to see different dialogues. And I like the drawn out, teasing yet building nature of this one. One scene/date in particular almost seems like it was stolen from my dreams and someone made a VN about it...

I'm not a fan of the HTML format, it's not my preference. However, I rarely ding the format/engine used to create a VN/game, unless it absolutely hinders the enjoyment. This one doesn't. The "mechanics" are a little clunky but nothing to complain about. Take your time, explore, discover all the options before moving on, and enjoy the experience. This one is well worth the read.

I can understand why some may rate lower.
The characters aren't necessarily to my liking or preference, but I respect the story that was being told and the way the characters fit into it.
Christine is absolutely the type of girl who would chew the MC up and spit him out in real life... But, she's fun, exciting, enticing, and there's always the hope the fantasy girl actually loves him...lol

Following on after "Meeting Keeley" we found "Getting to Know Christine", a very similar dating simulator in which Christine's personality is more of a turn-off if you're more into vanilla things.

While it would currently be considered sparse, it's amazing for the time it came out.

Christine... No comparison to Keeley; literally a freak you can't fix.

The years show and it does take its toll, but it allows you to see where we're coming from, and I think that's something that never hurts.

"Getting to Know Christine" brings us a rather less realistic and very zany female character, and therefore a story that loses quite a bit of interest in comparison.

You play as a shy awkward guy who falls into a relationship with the gorgeous dominant Christine. Personally, I did not like her - she is an overtly sexual manipulative bitch. The tough girl personality is taken too far, especially with Tora Productions having your character be a weak pussy just to create a contrast. The slow buildup to the sex was good.
Gameplay is a dating simulator where your score goes up or down based on your responses/actions. There are several checkpoints where you need to have a certain score to proceed. 3 difficulties - on hard mode I had to load my saves a few times.
Porn is average. Descriptions are minimal, renders are average, animations are hit and miss. A few are great, others are terrible. Most scenes are sharing porn, so don't play if you don't like that.

I write this on January 2022, so this game is probably a bit dated. But I'm very fond of it because it's one of the first erotic games which I knew and enjoyed playing. It's also the reason I'm a huge fan of its author, Tlaero.

I had first played the Keeley games, which were wonderful too, but the personality of Christine is captivating. It probably would be "too much" in real life, but for an erotic game, her risque antics are really fun.

One thing I loved in this one is that some porn scenes are games themselves: usually, in porn games the sex parts are simply for viewing enjoyment, but in this case, the sequence of the "dream" at the gym changes and evolves depending on what you do in it, which I thing is really cool.

Graphics are dated nowadays, but I think they are pretty effective. But, as always in Tlaero's games, the main point is the plot.

A bit of an older game but it was still interesting to play it.

While the graphics are not some of the best the story line is good and it was fun for me to play. The story is not very long either but as this is one of the first games from the creator I can not complain.

A 3.5 would have been more appropriate compared to the current games out there. But being a Fan of Tora games I had to round up.

The game is of a previous generation and the graphics is definitely dated.
Being a fan of the bush, I always give probs to models with decent pubic hair. (That is include here)

The story is basically a pure dating games, similar to Lesson of Passion Games, and have little content except the dating scenario.

Was still presented very nicely and I was able to enjoy it a lot.

A bit on the hard side without a walkthough or a lot of trial and error, for me at least. Similar to Elsa in that regard. But playing on hard mode I guess.
