The collections I want to publish weigh a total of ~1.5Tb, compressed with JPEG-XL (i.e., outdated JPEG/PNG formats to which they can be returned with lossless transcoding, will give a larger size, up to ~2-3Tb). I believe it is time for the local audience to transition to new standards, such as this format, which allows for compatibility with file-sharing standards and longer preservation of collections!
What do you think, and what are your suggestions for publication? I can upload it via torrent, and everyone can choose what to download, but it would be even better if releasers replaced their distributions with this collection
