I'm not sure if it's just my perception, but it feels like the game's updates are progressing too slowly, even though the math suggests otherwise.

Currently, the game has around 190 full-screen illustrations, and when including all the variations, it totals 962 images. Each complete monthly update typically adds content for 5 of the girls, usually consisting of a new image and its variations. At this pace, the game is expected to expand to approximately 142% of its 2023 size by the end of this year.

Why does it still feel sluggishly slow ?

I think it's because there's little being done with the art images. Other games often have few images outside of h-scenes, and rely on character models for storytelling instead of static images. Here, they're doing it largely through the images, which take a lot of time to make.

That being said, they have started implementing the usage of character models instead of images. For instance, compare Margarita hiding MC in her rear to smuggle him out vs Bezvy doing the same to make him pleasure her while she works. Both are the same situation, but Margarita's is an art image, while Bezvy's is her "turned back" character model zoomed in.

I'd rather prefer that they make more character models and write most of the smaller scenes around said models, and leave the images for the more heavy scenes (war, having sex with Madea, etc). This would make the story go faster, smaller interactions happen more frequently, development proceed more quickly, as well as make the illustrated h-scenes more rewarding once you get to them. As it stands, there's an illustrated cutscene every minute in the game's playthrough regardless of route.
