Tbf Diula would probably wouldn't be opposed to binging a bit on some food... Can definitely see a dark/sadistic route for her like we saw hints that exist with Regina. Inb4 both have a foray into the neutral kingdoms for "fun." (I am also many moons behind on later updates, but I always thought that'd be enjoyable content along with Pyeka growing bigger as she snacks her way back to the size an Empress/Goddess should be).

Legit think that Pyeka being tasked with punishing (devouring) a village that was rebelling/not meeting its tax obligations would be a nice flavor to their kingdom. Sure they capture and use some people in the arena, but there's clearly an initial phase of them going to wherever their "criminals" are at to capture them first that would be interesting.

"Oh, he was hiding in this village? Harboring a fugitive? You know what that means... collective punishment in my own personal jail cell for you all."

I think with Diula it's much more of a
"I literally do not give a fuck, because my give fuck senses, are incredibly dulled".
Not like in a sadistic way or anything, but because she's very close to being a well...a literal plant. And was like also kind of an experiment iirc?
I'd assume she is literally only doing her guardian duties because she deeply cares about Regina and as such because Regina cares about viridice also cares about it herself. I honestly don't think Diula would go outta her way to kill a bunch of people in neutral kingdoms for fun, but would definitely kill if someone stood in her way, and if it required significant effort to bypass them. Or maybe just not all, since Regina would want her to value life. Who knows.

Was thinking more of one of those MC branching things. The neutrals are causing and instigating conflicts, Regina is pissed, therefore "well why the fuck not? I'm hungry anyhow." I think of the route when the village is attacked, and Regina snaps (she's admitted she enjoys crushing buildings after all, its only a little push or two further for the bee to "go off" it feels like).

I don't think its out of line given her background was to quite literally be a massive weapon to then become effectively a "loose cannon" in a path where she embraces that nature a bit more. Maybe something instigates it, and MC can either help her reject, or to embrace it.

Someone connected with her past when she was first developed comes to the fore, plausibly from the neutral kingdoms that leads that way wouldn't be totally out of line given we've gotten a hint of her backstory there that tries to get her "activated" in some way.

As it seems like some characters will have darker paths based on their backgrounds, it wouldn't be too bad to delve deeper into that angle, even having the MC be supportive/accepting of her being that way (maybe she's been trying to repress it/urges/etc the whole time as a potential path).
