They basically updated "to be continued" message at the end of her "route" and said that they will only revisit her + the whole underwater kingdom, when they are far ahead with the main story. So with the pace of the current story, don't get your hopes up for the next 3 - 4 years.

3-4 years is being optimistic, the devs compared this to One Piece in terms of lenght. So basically a never ending Story.

All the more reason why Nezumicon seemingly has more quality control compared to it's older sibling, cause the cast is smaller and has less fantasy elementss involved.
Which hoepfully stays that way cause it's structure as it is works and doesn't need more stuff thrown in.

I mean, i like nezumicon but the story is not as interesting as GG imo.

Yeah I highly doubt that GG will ever be finished, rather life will happening and the project will be abandoned for some reason or another.

And in regards to Nezumicon: I really hope that they keep the cast smaller but I fear they will do the same thing they did with GG. We already got Clarice's mother, her rival at school, a racoon gamer/streamer girl, a teacher and the nemesis of the Kitsune goddess will probably make an appearance too... All of them could become entire new routes. I hope not.

I don't think GG will be abandoned but it will go for atleast 10-20 years until it's dry.

It's not about being as interesting, it's about keeping a consistent narrative that's self contained between the two routes between the Mansion and Shrine.
