Honestly I thought the same, at first I was thinking. "Yeah, making her accept herself is probably the right play" but now?
It really seems like a mistake, and I also find it kind of unfortunate that there is no sort of middle route right. Where you do want to be with her, make her accept herself but don't exactly want to be a toy either.

To be fair, the meaning of choices was unfairly flipped. The path to accept dark side and try to keep it balanced turned into "become psycho and use MC as an excuse", while the choice that suggested to keep suppressing those urges turned out to be the good one.

This also undermines Maryen's lore. She loved her parents, she obviously hated Kendra for decades for what she did, but now she's just like: "Meh, violence is actually fun", like if her sister wasn't a perfect example as to why she should not listen to those voices.

Every other part of her character got sidelined because MC simply said: "You can hurt me I won't judge". If her resolve was so weak this whole time, then she should've turned into Kendra ages ago.

1) Strongly depends on where will I initially get to, but if I have no plot armor then probably just die, and not on my own volition. If I do have one however, then go to the most advanced society, which is Timfalme, and try to become its functional member.
2) Probably someone from Timfalme, but definitely not Orphelith, because it's too dangerous to be a weak yet important person of the biggest kingdom around. Not Croixelle either, just to not be dumped when she gets tired of playing secret romance with me. Probably not Margarita or Kive, because I don't need any actual relations and don't want to spend the rest of my life working under the sun the whole day. So if it's an option, then just the castle in general, if I am guaranteed to get a job and live there forever.

Personally, I really want Evalin to get her own route. It seems this demoness nun knows a thing or two about fun. She might also have an interesting backstory
But I can't yet imagine where the transition to her route could appear if we meet her when MC already has a relationship with some other giantess.
