Optimization have drastically improved however from prior builds. My FPS with my 3080 has doubled from the 2.1 build I tried whilst doing largely the same exact things.

Also the file size is 4GB less than a prior build I have tried, so it seems the devs are factoring such things in. Its made in UE5, so its expected it will be beefier than a Renpy/RPGMaker game. Though 20GB might make a few who flirt with their drives being at/near capacity may shy away from. We have numerous hgames that are 5-12GB that are basically still renders looped animations, so I'm not sure what the complaints are about.

The tank/helicopter functions speak to an attempt to kind of be a bit into the Earth Defense force vibes, which is pretty cool if they go in that direction, and FPS was a lot better messing around with that, and was a bit fun.

Nice to see the lightposts aren't indestructible. That was something that was visually annoying in prior builds. If they made the overpasses destructible it'll add a a touch more to that aspect to make it better, though I read the dev say it would impact the pathing for the vehicles that drive around and won't be a thing for at least a while yet.

You can even enter some buildings while the giant is running around which is actually pretty impressive. This explains why its a 20GB game I suppose when there are detailed buildings like that.

Apparently there's a way to import your own models, so you could really turn it into a kaiju battle game later on rather than giant woman if you have compatible models to do that with. There's no HP system for the giants atm but it looks like they're going to be doing something like that later.

I can't in fairness give this a 4 despite how much I'd like to. It's a strong 3.5 as I see a lot of progress and effort being made in this. This is mainly due to it still being in an early build and not quite there yet in terms of functions.

If you like Earth Defense Force and/or like giant waifus this is definitely something you'd want to watch the development of.

You will want a beefier PC, something akin to a higher end late 2010s PC (2070 or 2080 with a good 9000s i series/zen2 equivalent or better) should allow you to play it without trouble but I can't assert that for certain.

This will limit the number able to play it properly. It may be possible to play with lower specs with the recent optimization changes, but I wouldn't recommend bothering. I think the dev has listed recommended specs previously.

To put it one way, don't expect this game to be playable on a phone or tablet for the next decade, lmao. This game is for desktop/high end laptop users. PC for certain, but I'm not sure how it works on linux so don't assume it will/won't work on linux, best to ask a dev or in thread.

If Godzilla was a file - it'd be this one specifically.

Are you tired of AAA titles being packed full of missions, quests and things to do? Can't be fucked to put 700 hours into your next "go to" game? Are you fed up with visuals that just don't cause enough of a pain in the ass? Well then look no further!

Giantess is a game which promises and delivers on all of those fronts! A game in which you take on the role of a giant woman, with giant breasts, a giant vagina and likely a giant anus for good measure who walks about a bit, crushes some buildings or two - and for some reason, takes great pleasure in squashing unaware civilians who wander around aimlessly! It's almost like a Bethesda game! Turd Howard - take notice!

But wait! There's more! You can be absolutely sure that it will absolutely take the piss in terms of performance and annoy you in absolutely every way shape and form! It'll eat a good portion of your RAM just in case you were missing what it felt like to game on Windows 95! And of course - it'll not be able to be deleted when you've finished playing because, that's right - you guessed it - SOMETHING in the folder stays ACTIVE in the RAM until your reboot your system! What is it? A data logger? A tracker of sorts? A keyboard monitor? Who knows? Who cares? Get it today and flip a coin with your PC's health and privacy! Live a little!

In all seriousness, avoid this. Please. It's just... What.

20GB, badly optimized, and most importantly, absolutely nothing to do in the game.

The "gameplay" is moving the character around and... uh... seeing things get destroyed I guess, and that's it.

Why does it weight 20 freaking GB?!!!!!

There is no game, no content, no nothing.
