This is one of the earlier bishoujo games around on this site. It's also probably one of the older games that JAST sells. As such, the narrative style can kind of attest to itself. It's a pretty compelling read, and although the subject matter at the time was rather controversial, but the style of the novel is rather compelling. It deserves a proper read.
Additionally, this VN has the proper in's and out's of a smooth-playing VN, which in this day and age may be under-appreciated due to the ease at which Ren'py has made a lot of the transitions.
The story itself is the biggest motivator for the rating here. The art style is rather classical, and the varying endings have their own degrees of suggestive sweetness or sour bitterness.
It definitely deserves a proper play through, and was a rather formative influence in my younger years.
