VN - Ren'Py - Girl Math [v0.1 Ch.1] [PomeloDreams]

The game doesn't tell you what its icons mean so you don't know what accumulating stars or lips means.

The dialogue in this game is a bit juvenile and so the characters come across a little underbaked and their interactions are unnatural. This doesn't have to be a problem if we had other PoVs to help us build the characters or some exposition but they're one-dimensional.


The art is the regular AI stuff we're seeing a lot of recently and I don't mind it. I'll keep my eye on it. However, there's not much here and what is underbaked.

Lets start with simple question: Do you enjoy teenage relationship drama TV series that are mainly aimed at teenage girls?? Yes or no?
Yes. You like teen drama:
+ In that case you will enjoy girls gossiping behind each other back. You will watch stupid romance between girls and boys (eg. some guy is HUGE asshole and yet the girl wants to fuck him, cause he is hot.).
+ Everything revolves around relationship drama!! Expect shit like: When a date between some random girl and a boy doesnt work out then Heroine will spend huge amount of her time hunting for gossips about that failed date. She needs to know everything!!!
No. You dont like teen drama:
- In that case stay away from this. Reading this shit will actually lower your IQ.
- Also majority of characters are one dimensional tropes without any depth. Boring.

Art and Sex stuff: 3/5
Pros:
+ Renders are nice.
+ Girls are hot.
+ AI art is pretty good in this game.
Cons:
- Unfortunately this is AI art. So there are some drawbacks.
- You will never get rid of the feeling, that all the girls look quite similar.
- Also renders have this basic facial expression that doesnt fit into some sex scenes.
- Sadly the sex scenes are really low effort. You will get only 4 or 5 lines of text that will describe whole sex encounter.
- Those sex scenes seriously need improvement.

Gameplay: 3/5
Pros:
+ This is typical VN with choices.
+ Choices have some impact on the gameplay and they can change what scenes you will see.
+ English is decent. But there are some occasional mistakes.
+ The game has a soundtrack. You can even hear a girl's moan during sex.
Cons:
- Choices dont have big impact on the game. At least in this early version of game.
- Sound effects are very barebone.

To sum it up:
This game is mediocre at best. It is not worth playing at this point. Maybe check the game later.
