And you are likely judging me over a few games without knowing how many i think are good. Wholesome nts? Haha no such thing. Most of my criticism has been around nts routes falling into ntr territory and not staying in its nts lane

I have been vocal on a few games that went into veins of nts without being upfront about it ahead of time and some that just dipped into ntr instead of staying on nts routes, and some that arent even nts at all. Lack of dev transparency. It also doesnt mean i hate the games either. Some of them are still good. Devils advocate dude.
In your mind, nts is all about swinging where Mc & fmc stays intact & consult each other before doing anything. If it goes beyond that, you throw a fit. Nts with one of them doing things behind the others back is just ntr. Core nts is consent from both parties. Most of the ones i have trashed arent just flirting ntr, they are ntr labeled as nts. If the devs were upfront ahead of time it would be gravy but a lot of them dont. There are also some that use the swing tag and in fact have no swinging, thats just dishonest.

I think it's a bit more mixed than that. I only like ntr if it's cheating, and not sharing, for example. So if the MC wants his gf/wife to cheat, or actively tries to get her to sleep with other men, I just alt+f4.
If the wife is just straight up cheating, but the mc knows about it, but actually likes it. Then it's kind of in the grey zone for me. I still get off from the betrayal part, but it's dampened by the mc liking it.
A good example would be Italian slutwife. The mc is a pathetic cuck, so I don't like him, and don't get off to it... BUT. If you go for the NTR route, his wife is still out there slutting it up behind his back. So her betrayal balances out his willingness to a certain degree.
