Glossary: or "what the hell is this acronym?" A resource for noobs on F95zone

Here's a little glossary I made over the past couple months. It contains terms that you see often on this site but are also pretty obscure for new users. Most are game acronyms of course.

1 I excluded general internet acronyms, general porn terms or specific fetish jargon... mostly. The main exception is when it's often misunderstood like "mAlE dOmInAtIoN mEaNs ThAt MeN aRe DoMiNaTeD". I can add relevant porn, weeb or fetish terms if the masses want that.

2 About game acronyms, I tried to include the acronyms I saw the most (not the same as the most popular games) by kind of looking at if they're used outside the game's own topics or other topics by the same dev. I included some names that are most known or only known by the acronym too.

This is open for requests, just give a term and best of all link an example.

Yes there are terrible jokes and selection is always a bit biased, deal with it. You can always request that something's added.

MC - main character, here used for player characters and used as a synonym of protagonist
MCR - My Cute Roommate
MCR 2 - My Cute Roommate 2
M/D - incest between mother and daughter
MFF - see FFM
MGQ - Monster Girl Quest
MMC - male main character, see MC

MTL - machine translation, machine-translated, or to machine-translate. Usually for crap translated from Japanese, sometimes from Russian. Particularly incomprensible machine translations are called MTL poetry

just a quick note, for me this are the differences of the three terms

NTR o netorare = the main protagonist's girlfriend/wife/crush cheat in him and starts a sexual and/or couple relationship with another person behind his back.
Netori = the main protagonist's starts a sexual and/or couple relationship with someone else girlfriend/wife/crush behind his back.
Netorase = the main protagonist's allows and/or request his girlfriend/wife/crush to have sex with another person.

anyway in this site all the games that contents are tagged as NTR but in another sites or in the name of some games the write the corresponding term.

The site uses "netorare" now, but it was NTR before. It changed in february.

Yeah is confusing the netorare and netori are the same only change the perspective of who play the game, and for japan where the terms come all person that the main protagonist have a love interest count, even exists the sub genre of mom/ntr, i was only trying to point out the differences between that terms and warn before new players download a game finding out the awful surprise of be in their disliked side of the netorare.
