What things are kept with NG+? And how can you trigger NG+ in this game, is it on a loss?

Is there also a way to turn off the DLC girls on a first playthrough? It's very hard to follow some of their translations and the quantity of them is a bit much.

NewGame+ carries over everything except the seedbeds you've captured. It triggers on loss or victory. If you want to restart, just go to your Barracks and remove all the goblins from your defense squad. On the next burrow defense you'll lose without any casualties. Just remember to put them back when you restart.

In theory you might be able to by changing some of the values in I think data/system2/1.ks but I can't really provide much assistance, you'd need to figure it out yourself.
